| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Welp, this episode got more comedic. Midare got introduced while they squeezed in the action at the final few moments. Not sure which character I like most at this point. However, all the guys has swordsmanship skills in some way or form. Somewhat impressed by the music they used. Souza's also a badass for having that pink hair. |

| my love souza.... please stop talking about your sad past, its killing me everytime.. im so glad we got to see the odagumi in action... i love them all so much and their interactions were so great.. they also sung the ed??? doudanukis reaction to midare though lol. i really liked this ep because of odagumi, but if it werent for that.. dunno how id feel about it. |

| This episode was DEFINITELY an improvement from episode one. The way they introduced the new characters, the pacing, the exposition and everything else was on point. Im really loving hanamaru for more reasons now than it just being Touken Ranbu. Can't wait for episode 3. |
| As someone who likes the Odagumi, I especially liked this episode. Also, it seems that this anime has gone a bit serious compared to the first ep, but I'm sure that light-hearted moments like Aizen and Nakigistune eating cabbages would still make this anime sweet. I'm guessing that each episode will have a different ED song, and I think it makes it more special. It felt like Kashuu and Yasusada were advertising that detergent, like why? But still, I'd buy that if it becomes a thing. |

| This was a good episode. I quite liked the variety in episode 1, but I also liked how they slowed down for episode 2 to get more in-depth. Of the group, Yagen could have used a bit more lines, but that ending was really cool too. I think this is going to be kind of educational, too, similarly to Axis Powers Hetalia where they both talk about things that happened in reality. XD |

| Odagumi being featured this episode was surprising, but it was nice how they resolved their feelings towards their master through a sortie (and how they included Okitagumi's thoughts as well). ED song was good too. |

Was surprised at the Shinken Hissatsu scene and the oda-group for Honnouji, sounds like what I would do too rofl We're not getting Fudou in the anime I take it? anyone know? (considering he's not in the opening and all...) |
| Oh god, the character designs are really appealing in this show! I'm not too sure about the build up of the show though, I can't really figure out if it is supposed to be SoL or action. |

| this episode was so great. i was already super happy to see my favorites Aizen and Naki being cute together, that made this whole show worth it. The Honnouji incident part, with their thoughts before and after, was great. I really love how they are showing everyone's relationships, feelings towards their past and what they are now. It's really endearing and the show's pacing was really enjoyable. |

| This episode really makes me happy. The show is making an effort to connect the swords to their historical origins which is a good way to allow certain characters a look to their past and the relationship they have with their owners. As long as the anime doesn't waste an episode on some stupid cooking filler, I think this anime will be excellent. |
| I love all the screen time given to Tsuru in this episode XD And him calling CCP "Mitsubou." The Odagumi in this episode was great, I like the mix of slice of life and random antics in the first part of the episode, and then ending with the sortie and some reflections. I was honestly expecting all fun and games, but Hanamaru is even better than I imagined it would be. So the EDs are going to be like the character songs that fans have always wanted? XD Both EDs have been really good! |

| I'm watching this anime for Doudanuki, and I finally got him. Yaaaay, Now to hope/pray he gets an episode and appears more... Pretty good episode though. Quite a bit better than the first episode. |

| I've found another trap to fap! so this show is about reliving the past events of history of Japan. The Katana on the ED sequence is a 3D visual and a very high quality to boot! 4/5. |

| From the manga portions I read online, Hasabe came off as a really likeable guy, despite being the sword of Nobunaga. Episode two followed a pattern that I forsee for the show. Establish one or two swords per episode and tell a brief story about their history and provide a character study. Still thumbs up about this show thus far. |

| Tsurumaru reminds me of Shiro from K Project. Whenever I see Kashuu and his nails, I realize that that's what a true pretty boy would be like... Hasebe gets his much desired Captain position, but I think he should be happier to be the Master's Attendant... Yamanbagiri is sooo depressing with all the I'm a copy I'm a fake I'm emiya shirou blah PLS SOMEONE MAKE HIM FEEL LIKE HE'S NEEDED HEYA MIDARE! I can't get enough really... and then there's the shotas... but I won't get started on that...  hmm, going to take a while for me to understand how they felt watching the Honnouji Incident play out |
