| Animator guy found the video of student council killing each other. Nurse girl became so weird ever since she watched the same video and the animation. Next target is the class... Lucky guy is back and gave them reason to go out, which is dangerous. Lucky guy "found" a hidden entrance from the statue and the real animator guy. Lucky guy was going to shoot despair girl, but long hair guy used his ability to shoot lucky guy instead. Animator guy found the teacher, who still didn't notice the phone call, while escape. Gamer girl noticed who that long hair guy is. |

| Holy crap, Mitarai discovers Junko's plan and has no choice but to cooperate. Tsumiki is in love with Junko. Peko fights Mukuro and Komaeda "Hope" Nagito is back. :O Kamukura is also there and could make an harem out of Junko, Nanami & Komaeda. Notice how Komaeda still fainted although he didn't take the bullet. |
| Hmm... Is Nanami going to die in these circumstances? Yukizome looked like she was going there to die, too. Pretty weird scene overall, I don't know what to make of it. Mitarai is awkward and makes mistakes, but he seems so turned down by despair overall. Poor guy has to cooperate because of Junko's threats. We saw Yasuke Matsuda for a second, interesting. |

| Wow, this episode was incredible. The scene with the puzzles was also really great too! It was nice to see how the jigsaw puzzle pieces with the Monokuma face ended up on everyone from the 77th class's face in the photos. We FINALLY see Matsuda!! ＼(≧▽≦)／ even though it was just for a few seconds... I wonder who is going to voice him. I wonder how Ryouta didn't find Junko weird before, orz. Oh well. Poor Mikan is already broken, although I expected something else to break her... Komaeda being an awesome trash as always. He surely loves guns, huh. And I laughed at everytime someone found Mitarai, they asked him if he lost weight. kawaii-despair said: Izuru and Komaeda actually meet and that's disappointing; wasn't their first meeting supposed to be in SDR2's chapter 0? | My god, what an episode!! So intense. I knew things were going to get darker after episode 5-6. Now I finally understand how everyone fell into despair: Mitarai's brainwashing technique mixed with the recording of the student council killing game. And here I and everyone thought that Junko just used their past traumas and dark past to make them fall into despair. But if that's the case then Mitarai is not an Ultimate Despair... at least not for now. My god, the final scene between Junko, Komaeda, Nanami and Izuru was epic as hell!! One of my favorite moments of the series so far. My only problem is... wasn't Komaeda supposed to meet Izuru for the first time in Chapter 0 of SDR2? Or after losing conciousness he will forget about what happened? Despite that, that doesn't explain how Izuru still acts as if he met Komaeda for the first time in that boat. Now everything is starting to make sense. Can't wait for next episode. |

| I don't even know where to begin... I am so happy Komeda is back! Love how he just waltzed into the classroom, and Chaiki was the only one to greet him properly. That's some souvenir taste he has too... The episode felt so short! I am a bit bummed that Junko only made Mikan fall into despair by mixing Ryota's anime with the student killing game video though. I thought she had done something more despairing... I am guessing her masochist side awaking was a bonus to it...? I laughed when Mukuro just nonchalantly got the projector ready so Junoko could do her mini presentation though, lol! Still poor Ryota though, no wonder he feels guilt... He cried and puked so much this episode... Komaeda looked like he feel in love with Izuru near the end, so does that mean that the ending theme is really dedicated to him??? That ending. I think next week we might see that scene from Juuzo's flashback shown on last future episode, and it seems like it will be the day... On a side note Nidai and Owari were cute this episode.... |

AND ON CHIAKI'S FACE TOO! - Mikan talking about Chisa and Chiaki to Junko gave me chills. D: - Mitarai asks why Junko made that movie and Mikan answer was muted. Oh please, don't pull a Tengan on me, Mikan D: - Sakakura is YUCK! They payed for this "hope school" so they have ALL THE RIGHTS TO COMPLAIN DUDE! They are probably paying your salary btw ;) - HELLO THERE MATSUDA! - They called it a "parade" to cover it up too. Man, Hope's Peak is so so so so rotten XD - JUNKO KICK!!!!!!!!111 IN DA FACE! Poor Mikan XD And she is a lot crazier than I expected. Like, that was really unsettling and bizarre D: - SO I GUESSED THAT RIGHT! She did brainwash poor Mikan. She used the video and the brainwashing anime that Mitarai made. - Gundam's hamsters *-* - Komaeda to Hiyoko: "Who are you?" I LAUGHED SO MUCH! Lol yeah, I had this theory of mine about the ending being dedicated to either Kamukura or Junko (I even opened a thread that was completely ignored XD -->https://myanimelist.net/forum/?topicid=1545472 ) but guess I was kinda right? | That was so fucking awesome. This entire episode is perfection. Komaeda is perfect. It's so despair inducing too and holy shit the tension was so high this entire episode. I don't know if this episode or episode 7 (despair) was the best episode so far but both were pretty fucking great. This show is starting to run away from Future, I mean holy shit. 5/5 |

Also, love the confrontations between Nagito and Junko as well as Nagito and Izuru, knowing what Hinata and Nagito will do when they meet again. Though it is weird, the next time Nagito meets Izuru, on the boat, they act like they've never seen each other before? Plot inconsistency? |
| Man this episode was great, the white haired Luck guy was epic. He came back and went all in, got that girl on lock. Too bad the hax guy appeared and screwed it all up. And his luck was next level this time. Poor Mitarai and Mikan lol. |

| This was... a surprisingly well made episode. It still doesn't save the show for me but I have to admit it's one of best DR3 episodes. It's a shame Mikan was a really cool person before being Junko-fied after all... Mitarai is a wuss (No surprises there) and I'm back to hating Izuru. Funny how Chisa is surprisingly useless after the first episodes. Fuck Junko. This anime made me like her less. Ryouko Otonashi is still bae though. Also, YASUKE CAMEO YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS. Angry_Always said: This is pretty weird... I agree last episode was dumb but it's not just that, in the other anime Sakurako going from "I'm going to kill you all for Munakata" to "I'm leaving, screw it" is a moment that worries me, it's kinda badly written. Though I won't lose hope for either series. I wonder about Chisa, she can't die here so she must do something, right? I'm having a hard time wanting Junko to succeed too but I guess that's kind of the point. By comparison I'm liking characters like Pekoyama, Impostor and Nagito more so I guess the anime gives fresh perspectives. I feel bad for Mitarai and kinda get a little annoyed seeing him all crying but I do respect how he didn't concede his morals, fighting to escape Junko and sexy times with Psycho Mikan. Although, did Junko fail with Mikan? It seemingly worked, Mikan is obsessed with her and with despair now. |

But, DR loves to plot twist its fandom, so I think there is a (really small) possibility that she will survive this :O |

Compared with the others being obsessed with despair, Mikan was obsessed with love, wasn't she? In the trial in DR2 she talked about her beloved and how she would do anything for her and how her beloved was the only one who cared for her. Funny since Junko's treating her like shit now. If we ignore Mikan smiling at the puzzle pieces going everywhere, it seems she isn't obsessed with despair as Junko intended, rather she fell in love with Junko. Her insecurities and hidden side were just brought along for the trip I suppose. |
