| I have seen some hate for Arima and i'm like what the hell.. It never looked like he had the intention to actually kill Kaneki. We knew that since Ishida has shown their complex relationship. There are 2 options why he did that. 1 - He took his own life because he was too proud to stay alive after his defeat 2 - He was waiting for his beloved student to end his life after he saw he became strong enough to deal with the tragedy |

| -Furuta somehow found out that the 'Owl' is broken, meanwhile he broke the other Owl. Furuta's quite impressive, being able to do that to Eto. Furuta confirmed what we all though, that he was just fucking around until the V mooks were dead. He isn't a natural one-eyed, not really surprising. Hah, he really likes his kagune. He left her there to die, hopefully she won't be attacked while wounded, so she can escape. He seems quite eager to fuck shit up some more. Even Eto doesn't understand what the hell Furuta is going on about. She's probably just glad to be alive at that point. -Kaneki trying to talk him into surrendering. Arima really is into the philosophy of 'no retreat, no surrender'. *cough* He didn't reveal his kagune, it seems like Arima really is just one really incredible human. Props to him, he really is impressive, even with a broken quinque he still is able to launch an attack. Shame it doesn't do anything. Hmm, I wonder if that is a mistranslation...'Have you no intention of killing me EITHER'. It looks like Arima also really didn't want to kill Kaneki. That's really sweet and all, but it doesn't really 'hit the spot' because we don't know anything about Arima, why doesn't he want to kill Kaneki? What's Kaneki to Arima, still nothing on that. Arima seems at a loss, it's his first time getting defeated, he doesn't know how to feel and what to do. Aaaaaaaaand....he commits sudoku. WHAT THE FUCK MAN?! >inb4 Kaneki closes the wound with his kagune Well then, this chapter was really good IMO, but it raised more questions that it answered, about Furuta and his agenda, and about Arima. |

| Just what is happening ? The most rational explanation I can come up with is that Arima couldn't stand being defeated so he decided just to simply end his own life ? I think this has to do with his past but damn this is the last thing I expected. Furuta can't stop trolling, but even with Rize's Kagune, how is he that powerful ? |

| This chapter was a bit disappointing... Eto being offscreened by Furuta was... not a very good conclusion to their fight. Arima killing himself was predictable... hopefully we still get some form of backstory for him. |
