| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- OMG best dam thing i can hope from this chapter after last chapter. He did it, he said the words he will succeed the shop that's what i wanted, and with the price he paid, can't age, <epic>, and can grant wish for real<shit awesome>. He wore the long cape thing whatever u called it and smoke the pipe, too epic of a chapter, shit load that made me to smiley and happy. lol to awesome, this chapter is. lol but... how does this fit in to Tsubasa , i think we will find out soon. |

| I was totally thinking on a whole other level - I laughed at myself. I was like, omg - what if Watanuki is Yuuko?!?! Or something like that. It only lasted a few seconds, then I laughed pitifully at my stupidity XD |
| I totally saw this coming. Now all those fanfics that have Watanuki inheriting the shop in the future can be considered Canon ^_^ |

| between last chapter and this chapter, i pretty much conclude that the egg is to erase watanuki's memories, potentially the entire world's memories, of yuuko. that way watanuki could live his life as a healthy, normal boy, which is what i'm sure yuuko wanted, and that choice she gave to doumeki. it seems like he's hesitant about doing this, because watanuki's so adamant about succeeding the shop, but..i have a feeling the egg might be used. just to end the story for good. |

It would be an interesting use of the loop plot in Tsubasa applied to Holic. If Watanuki is FWR, then it would explain his determination to resurrect her, and if he's Clow then it explains the brief but powerful desire to keep her living even though death, which started it all. But still remains the question of what does Doumeki egg do. Chryseis' idea looks nice, but since Doumeki determined that he couldn't use it on Watanuki since he only had one shot would mean that the egg only affects one person. |

| Yeah we really don't want Watanuki to be FWR, because he was so cool and such a good character in Holic, and if its true and if we compare it to the future him in Tubasa we feel, well i would feel sad, that he would turn out that way, if that's the case i hope he just inherits the shop and not try anything rash to resurrect her, instead just wait for a her to reincarnate some ages later, and then they meet again. |

As for confuser987's theory - it's an interesting one, and it could be plausible...if CLAMP really forces it. Even if the time factor is applied - the fact is that they look nothing alike personalities are not alike either. I truly see Fei Wong and Yuuko as seperate characters from Sakura and Syaoran. |
| It's hard to tell... But indeed... this chapter was epic.... But I feel... bad for both Doumeki and Watanuki... I feel that the egg is like someone else here said.... The egg will only take effect in one people... Watanuki saying he's going to take over the Shop... And saying he will fill in Yuuko's role... And he will not age... just as Yuuko happened to be.... Hmmm this really sounds promising... I dunno what kind of twists CLAMP can use of at this point... But I'd not be surprised if Watanuki turned out to be the past of FWR... Poor Doumeki... I think he's breaking up from the inside... He doubts... and he doesn't want to activate the egg.... Signs, Green |

| Amazing chapter... I took Yuuko's death pretty hard, but this chapter totally makes up for it. I could see it coming a mile away, but the way it was executed was brilliant. The last scene with Watanuki smoking the ol' opium pipe kinda made me tear up a bit... I can't wait to see how Watanuki will take up the job. Can't contribute to the Tsubasa discussion because, well, I don't read Tsubasa. Beautiful chapter, nonetheless. Time to get the story rolling again! |

And I like thinking of him as Clow, because he would have more "pure" motive towards Yuuko than FWR, and it suits Watanuki more than becoming all greedy and consume by hatred in the future. |

Which would fit perfect if Syaoran is FWR. Watanuki/Clow and Syaoran/FWR - two different existence outcomes depending on the decision. |
