Commander Reynold: Putting aside arguments over the intercept system proposed by Rin-san's deceased husband, you can't really say one is a pilot by just staring at a monitor. So imprisoned Comet Blasters in the first episode of the first OVA probably meant some other Mikuriya I thought those three are gonna be a replacement on Shimojijima base for Mikaze and company since the last ones were going to move to space, but if not, then what is their purpose? |

| Surely it wasn't a lack of skill that had them fail the Comet Blaster exams. They've demonstrated to be exceptional pilots in the original series. Must be more shady business behind the scenes. |
