| At first treating the story as though it wasn't something any 9 year old boy could have come up with was kind of cute. Now it's just painful. Maybe they will hire more than three people who can draw Mazinger at some point so we get more than thirty seconds worth of action crammed in at the end of the episode. |

| Nice to get some backstory on Baron in this reboot since never happened in any of the other adaptations. Also what happened Kouji in this show? he's such a wimp compared to the original and Mazinkaiser. Maybe it's because it's too early yet and he barely have started using Mazinger Z but meh... |

| This woman and Ashura are taking so much space in the show... And was Hell promoted to officialnarrator of the (fan-fictiony) background? 3/5 Where is my favourite hot-blooded pilot, Kabuto Kôji? GOOD POINT: Hell looks less evil in the past, unlike in the original where there was no way to trust him. |
