| Shou's mom has some serious problems |

| No this isn't just a fluffy little romantic comedy with a kawaii kid....I didn't really expect so much drama based on the initial summary of the series. I think this arc shines a new light on the decision by Yuzu's mother to leave her daughter with the family and try and work out her problems. One thing I really like about the show is how some of the supporting characters are being developed, particularly Reiko who initially seemed to think that Yuzu was an annoyance, but has now taken a much larger role in helping to raise her. |

| Actually for a show that is supposed to be drama/romance/slice of life this show has barely any drama whatsoever. Not sure what you could find objectionable about the rare cases where they do add drama, and btw the drama with Kokoro is with the dad abandoning his daughter not really her. If you say its only females and list Kokoro then wtf does that make Shou, he is also a victim like Kokoro but since he isn't a girl his drama doesn't count? |

| Wow. It's another crazy woman blaming Yuzuyu and saying that she doesn't have a mother. I was thinking that maybe she was being abused by her husband, so she'd take it out on Shouta. Just her being naturally angry and attacking anyone she finds to be weak. |

| Quite a sad episode actually, child abuse pretty much sums this episode up! I wonder if there will be anything done against and what will happen to Shou! |

| Putting aside the marvelous memories this brought up of my own childhood.... Yuzuyu's dance was adorable!!!!!!!!!!! |
| Wow, what an episode. I didn't expect seeing the actual abuse taking place to stir me up so much. Especially when it was right in front of Yuzuyu, it felt like my heart was being ripped up. Obviously child abuse can't be defended but I can relate to Shou-chan's mother on the feeling of being trapped in a certain behavior or lifestyle that I clearly want nothing to do with. With that said though I really can't stand when parents base their reputation off of their children and take it out on them when their pride takes a hit. I think rather than taking Shouta away from her, she needs to get help as she's lost her way. |

| Hmmm, I think "Horrible moms" will be a better name for this show. It is so sad when I think there are actual moms that act like this. |

| Wow this episode was heavy. Half way through I almost wanted to pin the blame on maybe a disorder but she truly thinks a child is suppose to act perfect and beat them if they get out of line. A child really? Hope things improve for Shou. :'( |

| This episode is hard to sit through. Yuzuyu accidentally saw horror beyond her comprehension and things get worse, I wonder if it's also made her remembered when Miyako hit her after the death of her husband? |
