| I think he did the right thing, but I wouldn't be surprised if he regrets it later. This war is turning such a peaceful man into a military leader. It's a bit sad but I really like how it's looking so far. |

I keep thinking back to when Benawi asked Hakuoro and he replied that he'd go to hell rather than heaven if he died. He must have had a reason for replying that way... so maybe in a way he's prepared to deal with issues like war and the like. He seems much better at strategizing than actually fighting, though, of course. It's kind of nice that Eruruu and Aruruu are both willing to go down this path with Hakuoro, without just keeping their eyes closed to the reality of what's really going on... |
| Good, good. When facing a greater power you must resort to unconventional warfare, else you are fried. Only thing I dislike of Hakuoro, is his weakness as a fighter (good tactician, though) and his coldness toward Eruruu. |

| Hakuoro's really good at strategizing, although I hope he spends more time with Eruruu and Aruruu .-. Hope Hakuoro won't change too much. Surprised Kurou didn't stomp those guys. |

| The ending was cheesy, with the Emperor suddenly appearing from the food and supplies storage unguarded and attacking Hakuoro, but it was a good episode overall. |

Figured there would be a plan to rig the castle with explosives before it was occupied, but I didn't expect Niwe's emperor to hold himself up there too.  Those computer-generated soldiers looked awful though. Reminds me of the slew of cheap indie games with terribly blocky, low-polygon 3D graphics "inspired" by PS1 games. |
