| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- That was... kinda rushed :D We not only see the end of the Predators game against Aota's team, but also a resume of the final game of the "regional" (or something in between) tournament There's still a bunch of episodes left (or so it seems, according to the site's disclaimer on the hour schedule for the anime and to the DVD releases), though, so much is still to happen (hopefully we'll finally see the Predators team as it is depicted in the OP)... ;) Next episode: A coach's depression after the "regional" (or something in between) tournament... |

| It was clear they'd lose so I liked the pace of the episode. I don't really care about the coach but at least the 3U quit (or at least wanted to?) so there will be space for Aoto. xD Seems that after next episode the second story arc will finally begin. |

| Yep, looking forward to next arc as well with the predators v2 as seen in the op! Not sure where I saw it but I think this will be 36/37 eps at least :) which makes very happy as I love this. Looking forward to slim Reika-chan as well. We see the 8 main team that will be predator v2 but wonder who are the other 3 (or 2 unless the random guy we almost never see remains lol)...anyway 3U + Keeper gone, GOOD. |

Going back to the ep, did Erika-chan gave Aoto a love letter...it looked like it at least, or her phone number...?? !!! So bold with the blusing and all and how she wanted him to look at her while looking cool :) otherwise maybe she just got fascinated with his play and the letter is one of admiration...wishful thinking because I would have liked if Erika looked at Shou instead, they are perfect. Anyway looking forward to the triplets revenge, that guy really humiliated them with his play and mouth in the final match. It will also be fun to see Aoto and the triplets get along, I can see Kota and him fighting for the ace/striker position. Also looking at Aoto surname /Gonzalez) guess his has Latin American blood and why he may have such talent for football, probably his father is from Argentina looking at the hints the anime gives us. |

| The finals defeat was expected, so I didn't think it was rushed really. Looking forward to when they get the team back together again. |

| What a coach, a resignation letter after accomplishing a lot more than what was expected. Or if it's due to injuring Kouta, he's quite mentally fragile. Kuchenlight said: "Best team in the world"? Yeah our European teams would get squashed by a nation where football isn't even the #1 sport. And yeah winning against a team of 10 players that was fast put together with a defense that contains a player whose career isn't even 1 year long and a player who only knew the meaning of being a benchwarmer. Certainly an accomplishment of a life time... |

| Back to square one. Hanashima resigns, 3U quits, Reika comes down a fever. The team practically fell apart. Bald guy humiliates Predators, 6-1 defeat. The guy is annoying. |

| I don't play soccer and I don't know about the rules, but do they usually allow teams to play 2 games in a day? Not only that, they allow players to continue playing in the rain? I mean, not that it started to rain halfway, it was already raining before they even began the match.. I am also disappointed in the semifinal's result, not that I don't want Momoyama Predators to win, but as I expected, all the talk about Reika scoring would surely lead to something, and it's the game winning shot no less. I mean strategically nobody would want to guard Reika because of how useless she's been all throughout the tournament, but really, that gatekeeper has terrible sense, and also terrible ball IQ. That poor guy will probably bring this shame into his grave, what a stain to his career. So disappointed with this series now.. |
