| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Female magician telling "kid" not to steal the ruby because of the curse, then Hakuba is falling in love with her beauty (?, lol~). Kid sent a letter to cancel about the stealing of ruby (for a reason). Jody Hopper... she (Hikasa-san?) got the girl's purse back for Kaito. She doesn't like the magic that she got after her grandpa, said she's going to end it tonight. She gave her the ticket. And there's someone following her (for the ruby). lol @ Conan's cameo. As Kaito (not Kid), he went in and met the magician who were practicing, asked for favor. She's not doing magic anymore ever since her parents died in accident, and at the same day she got the ruby. Fake Kid showed up as the show's finale?! Oh, he exchanged with that magician, so that he can protect the ruby. lol @ her magic during escape. He knows the true identity of the ruby even though being blue (memory that grandfather left). From that, he also saw his father. After that, she decided to continue with that magician who was practicing. |

| Wait, what's with the bad animations all of the sudden? That certainly wasn't standard up until now. Not that the episode itself was bad or anything. Quite good even. The scene were Jody was rummaging in Kaito's cape (?) with all that stuff coming out was pretty funny. Just get the animations fixed for the next episode, please. |

| I'm damn upset this is not a running anime series. They give that horrible Naruto spin off an anime but not this. This is like a successor to Lupin III IMO. |
| Hikasa Youko in the house. Seriously, I hope they went far ahead that "Shinichi Kudo" appears in this anime special. Though it aired before in Conan. |

| Oh hey cool! 5/5 This was my first Kaito Kid episode. I love it already. I'm okay with it not having that much typical detective plot compared to Conan. Don't get me, wrong I like both. I was alright with the animation. It was really gorgeous when he shined the blue ruby at the ceiling. Hakuba's hot. END OF STORY. |

Heard that the spin off is running purely on sponsors and makes no dough though. Even took Bleach's timeslot. Must have crapload of haters. Anyway although the animation was bit lazier the episode is my favourite from 10 currently.. Great stuff. |

| Kaito continued his kind attitude. Now its time for some foreign magician that almost retire for her job. Yeah, a nice relations between Kaito's dad and her grandfather. At the end, Kaito's mission was solid, to protect that gem no matter what. I kinda confused with another Kaito's that flying in the sky. Who was that? |
