So.. is Thobari not Miharu's father? I got the distinct impression from that flashback scene that he is?

It seems that everybody's going to die now.

and how old do you suppose sensei was when he uh.. produced Miharu? ^^;;
i think it was rather obvious from this episode's flashbacks that he is Miharu's older brother 0.o correct me if i'm wrong. at least that woman with them was Thobari's mother.

The scared guy that ran off and left the old man was Miharu's dad I think. Didn't she say something like 'I shouldn't have gotten him involved with the ninja world. I should go back by whats_his_name's side'? It couldn't have been in reference to the old man since he clearly knew what he was doing as apposed to the other guy.

Just my 2 cents.

PS. I too am guessing Thobari is related to Miharu either by being his brother or cousin.

Oh.. that makes a little more sense, they are very related anyway :)

Neither nor.

The woman (Asahi) ist Miharu's mother and the last owner of the Hijitsu, the coward one left behind is Akatsuki, Miharu's father. (I just wonder, why they made a coward out of him. There was some point (at least in the Manga) where it was said that Miharu inherited his parents "talent"...) The old man who was alos left behind was Tobari's grandfather. There was some scene in the manga, when Tobari explained that his grandfather was a Ninja-fan, wanted to become one, went to Japan, dragged him along into the "horrible airplane" and that's how they ended up in Banten. I don't remeber, whether it was in the Anime through.

Tobari is not bloodrelated to Miharu at all. O-nii-chan ist a common way for little boys to address older boys, just as they are calling adult men "oji-san" (uncle).

Well, that arc is still coming in the manga and right now it looks to me that there it wasn't even Engetsurin to seal away the memories, but rather Asahi using the Hijitsu.

The images of the universe were a bit dramatic. Things are making sense now with all these flash backs.

I agree that blind woman sucks the most. arg... she bothers me. Also the whole universe thing really took away from the tensity of the episode I think it could have done just fine without the giant DNA strand in the sky.

I love Yoite! Hattori was like a immortal man and nobody was able to kill him, so it was a good thing that he finally died. I hope that blind woman dies too. But really they just so rushed to finish the plot and before this episode everything was going so slowly. I wish they'd just share the story to all the episodes and not stuck everything in just 3 episodes. -_-"

anybody else think it's strange that aizawa was seen in the flashback as a young kid?
Isn't he immortal?
Shouldn't he have looked the same as he does now?

So boring and repetitive... he always is just about to use the forbidden jutsu and someone stops him...

And what was with the little Aizawa? Wasn't he supposed to be immortal and to have lived for many years now, so why was there a little kid just ten years before the events?

I'm glad that stupid old man Hattori died, he got what he deserved especially after killing Raiko. Dang Yoite really is losing it, makes me wonder if he will be able to hold out considering how much Kira he is using.

She really was bothering me too... I was waiting for Raikou to attack her when she met with her alone. He had plenty of time before that Tattegami (might be off in the name xD) guy came.

Aikawa looking younger in the flashback doesn't make sense since in the first flashback with him, when we first see his back and the cat, he is his current age but with a long ponytail. So wtf there, inconsistent show is inconsistent.

Yay! Both Miharu and Yoite have gone insane, and hopefully the head bad guy is dead now. (Fucker deserved it.)

I agree with Miharu though -- I really don't get why Thobari didn't tell Miharu all of that before.

Yeah that was weird, I wondered about Aizawa as well.

As for why Tobari didn't say anything to Miharu until the end, I think it was simply because that was what Miharu's mother wished. Right or wrong, Tobari was following her desire that Miharu be able to forget everything and try to live without the shinrabansho. It would have made sense to me to tell him everything once Miharu started getting pulled back into the nabari business, but I guess the last request of the dead overrode everything else in Tobari's mind.

This anime would be better...if it didnt have a little kid as the main character....asking Tobari that was the dumbest thing i heard out of him yet Miharu is so damn annoying

I agree. This show has so much potential to be much better. Miharu is hopeless most of the time.

If Hattori really just got killed, it would be anticlimactic.

Anyways, what up with the blurry visuals these couple of episodes? Is it just me?
