| Even though the action's picking up, I'm still getting a mixed sense of melancholy and something just a little sinister not totally unlike the feeling of Haibane Renmei (which is no bad thing of course). |
| I liked this episode. Still not as much as I feel I could like it. Something else bothering me, if you want your assassins to be accurate why are they using automatics? Seems like scope rifles or hand guns or train them to get close and kill with knives would be the better plan. I liked how the blonde girl lassoed the guard from the door as he was leaving. |

| Another average episode =P. They need more little girls jumping around destroying people and showing off/talking sh!t! This is too passive for the name "Gunslinger girl"! |

| well i consider this to probably be the most action i have seen from this anime, and yet it still wasn't too much... which of course is what is bothering some people, but I myself am liking how they are doing the action scenes, im actually wanting the plot to progress and the characters and wanting to know more in that aspect, rather than just expecting loads of gunfights and girls just flying about the place xD this has more serious undertones and i like that |

| So much of this episode was dialogue explaining some sort of political terrorist factions and blah blah blah....Ugh! I hate trying to follow that kind of stuff. Just tell me who the bad guys are and who the good guys are and then get the story moving. I don't need to know the particulars of which faction defected from which other sub-faction of a covert military yada yada and now is poised to strike terror in the hearts of blah blah blah.....just get on with the story. |

| This episode was particularly dry with its exposition, and in the end I'm not even sure what was accomplished. I caught the irony in Franca's comment at the end, but other than that I feel like the point of the episode was lost on me. | Maybe it's because I just came from watching Standalone Complex, but I was hoping for a little more substance from this series. Triela right now is definitely the highlight of this anime for me, and I hope she gets more screen time. Looks like she is the fan favourite as well, which is definitely understandable seeing how the following season seems to be focused on her. |
