So, Judy made her first friend by helping Sally. I quite liked that scene in the auditorium, pretty well done stuff. I can't wait for the inevitable meeting between Judy and Daddy Long Legs.

Poor Judy doesnt know any better.
She honestly didnt realize that she was like the ONLY person
speaking at the top of her lungs in the cafeteria.

I have to admit that I cringe at some of the humiliations that happen to poor Judy! And in this episode, I found it heartbreaking how certain she was that Daddy would be there. He clearly means so much to her!

I've read the book this series is based on, so I (roughly) know how it will all end, but it's still painful to watch in some ways.

Other than that, yes, I loved the way she helped Sallie by writing a speech on the fly! Judy really is quite talented.

Judy realized just in time she wasn't writing the speech for herself otherwise it would have been rather awkward for Sally.

Don't think Judy felt all that humiliated, a bit lonely perhaps.

Didn't think it was cringe but rather nice that she's the only weirdo and acting natural amongst all these rich people. It really reinforces her character as the one who has better things to do than take care of her appearance. I agree it was sad seeing going from person to person in search of daddy long legs, also makes a bit of her lonely melancholic established at the beginning.
Also yeah the speech scene was fucking great, curious about how their relationship will go

Well, of course Judy would oblivious regarding the proper etiquette, but that makes her really charming(yeah, I started to like her) and how she helped out Sallie was nice. Nothing can beat a speech from the heart.

Kinda felt bad for her after the dinner and when she was looking for Daddy Long Legs, tho.

Poor Judy, she was feeling so lonely... But I loved that speech scene. She really saved Sallie, and some teachers(?) realized what they were doing, but they let it continue because it was good. I mean, it was full of appreciation towards the school and of gratitude towards Daddy Long Legs, but she couldn't name him since it wasn't her up there so she replaced him with god. xD Now, after this, I believe Sallie is really her friend. And Julia too I guess. It was so sad to watch her eating alone after those girls left the table just because she sat there. Here's hoping she won't have to feel so lonely anymore. And I was hoping that her Daddy Long Legs would have been there listening to that speech, but I guess he wasn't. Not even that man who is working as the link between them showed up.

Oh god the cringe. I felt so uncomfortable the whole time but well at least it was hilarious. And the ending was nice. Finally, Judy isn't lonely anymore!

It's sad watching Judy being so excited yet "Long Leg Daddy' didn't come.
It gives me mixed feelings watching her doing her best to be a part of the group yet the rich girls/classmate 'kind off ignoring her.'

Well at least she made her first friend Sally.
