Aww! The ending was really cute! A bit predictable, we all knew it was going to happen soon, but that's al right.

Although I don't really understand Sachiko's attitude. She may just be teaching Noriko to be polite, but the doesn't have to start a fight about it. Talking 'bout politeness...

As I remembered, Touko isn't nearly as bad as I thought she was. She's a little obnoxious, but that's about it. And I'm a little sad this episode ended... it was really a wonderful ending, but I liked following Shimako's story the best. Yumi is wonderful, but there's something special about Shimako, especially since she was Sei's petite seour.

That said, I'm looking forward to continuing the rest of the season with joy~

Sachiko scolds Noriko, but Noriko snaps back and won't have none of that XD! It kind of annoyed me too when Sachiko talked about how Noriko was being rude. Makes you wonder why she hasn't scolded Touko for being rude. Double standard huh?

At times like this, I kind of miss the former Roses. Sachiko isn't quite like the calm and collected manipulator Youko. Rei easily gets flustered unlike the cool Eriko.

Sachiko at times gets my nerves. She doesn't scold Toko for not being formal. Like when she hugged Sachiko from behind to make Yumi jealous. Or when Toko entered the room when the Roses were talking about a way to get Shimako to spill the beans. I mean entering the room without knocking, Sachiko would have said to knock first. Oh but here she gets mad that Noriko talks back to her. I'm with Noriko on this one. I understand Sachiko is telling her to be formal but after the stunt Sachiko and the others pulled last time it doesn't surprise me that Noriko would get mad at Sachiko.

What makes me a bit annoyed with Sachiko is her deep serious personality. Like loosen up a little. Be more like Eriko or Youko. At least they have sense of humor.

Shimako giving the rosary to Noriko was as expected but wow I totally didn't expect the argument in the Council.

A fairly interesting episode with some heated moments. We all knew the end was coming up, but the Sachiko argument before it was "exciting" to say the least.

Sachiko and Rei say they won't force Shimako to pick a petite-sœur; then Sachiko
proceeds to pick a fight with Noriko to force precisely that.

This series has devolved into such a shitfest these last few episodes... Really sad, especially after how wholesome the first part of the season was.

Photography girl tries to also show heart of the persons on the photos, hm.. Interesting..
lol, it feels so snobby to actually force someone to call "sama" someone.. Yeah, it might be etiquette.. But I personally feel it should go from the wish and heart rather than punishment and "hur dur, san bad, sama good", lol.. But Sachiko was always like this, thinking proper manners are going first of all, and everything else - after..
Same with making Shimako choose between staying Rose and becoming ordinary student.. Again, either you fully follow the codex of proprieties, or you not follow it at all.. Sachiko is too rigid, really.. There are different ways..
In the end.. Shimako wants to be with everyone and with Noriko.. Noriko wants to be with Shimako.. Proprieties - I don't know about them.. Maybe in future some more conflicts will arise from this.. Maybe not.. Who knows..

So, Shimako has finally given her rosary to Noriko. Noriko didn't want to be a little sister at first, but the Lady Roses have grown on her, and she wants to remain by Shimako's side, no matter what.

Sachiko mentioned that Rosa Gigantea was protecting Shimako in the last year so they couldn't touch the issue on the Shimako's past in the last episode.

In Sei's story, S. Rosa Gigantea and Rosa Chinensis en Bouton Yōko protected Sei. They gave Sei time and freedom even when Sei immersed herself into the relation and became alienated with Yamayurikai. They chose to let Sei explore on her own.

There were a two-generation gap between Rosa Gigantea and Shimako; Rosa Gigantea couldn't protect Shimako for ever.
Akaseaka said:
However, one thing Shimako had developed in the year she stayed by the side of Rosa Gigantea was to stay strong and stand on her own feet.

In the previous three episodes, Rosa Chinensis and Rosa Foetida tackled the problem with Shimako's past and Shimako and Noriko's relationship in a direct and forceful manner. Instead of S. Rosa Gigantea and Rosa Chinensis en Bouton supporting Sei from the back, or Rosa Gigantea protecting Shimako openly and assertively, this times it was Noriko standing up for Shimako.

Akaseaka said:
However, it is interesting to assume that S. Rosa Gigantea wore the Rosary around the neck, so did Sei in her second year. But on the start of her third year, under the cherry tree, as she made up her mind to become Rosa Gigantea, she started to wear the Rosary around her right wrist. This was then passed down to Shimako.
In this episode, Shimako put the Rosary around Noriko's neck, which probably ended the fashion of wearing Rosary on the wrist? In a way relations between sœurs in the White Rose family are all unique and interesting.
