I wasn't expecting to see everything making actual sense. But it's true Groder grew into a follower of Ashram and started doubting Vagnard over the course of the relic hunt (at least in the novels).
The post-Fire Mountain Ashram is pretty good, glad he didn't stay the exact same character.

5/5 Now, if only the designs weren't that pale compared to Yuki's (even Izubuchi's art was more pleasant).

Parn, a loser? Why? o-O He didn't have the slightest idea of what was going to happen.

@St0rmblade Side note: negative.

Oh so Prince Reona is played by the same guy who voiced Mugen! Very cool.

Marmo military uniform (specifically the part near their collars) looks like Karla's circlet.

Ashram is growing to be more interesting...on a side note, has there been any blood in this series at all? xD

ASHRAM appears in this episode, & everyone is shocked by his presence, who was supposed to be dead in episode 8 when he jumped off into the lava to get that 'scepter of domination'.
Looks like he was saved by GRODER, his ally, who teleported the falling ASHRAM right after he jumped into the lava, & that's how he survived.

ASHRAM, after 9 years, is more mature now, and he gives that credit to King KASHUE and PARN during that battle in episode 8 which made him realize something significant. His goal of 'UNITING LODOSS' hasn't changed, but his perception towards it has matured enough.

PARN has also matured and it's good to see him dueling with ASHRAM with a firm belief, not backing off even when their ideals clashed. And even after the duel, he didn't feel ashamed of admitting his defeat.

It doesn't matter whose ideal is better, but the fact that both of them has grown matters a lot.
