| How far we can stray from our ideals and dreams. Might this be the first episode Keaton's been so beat? Twice in a row too. The episode had quite an atmosphere of the time, but it's a shame that we're once again resorting to all these backstory confessions. Interestingly, the next story seems to be about three (childhood?) friends as well |

| true, soviet schoolboys ('pioners') would never do that lol especially this young weird surnames were distracting too, and these full official names "Nikolai... Mikhail..." - friends can call each other like that only to fool around but overall a good episode, i enjoyed the animation so much in this one |
