Didn't he just meet this chick and she already wants to call him "chan"? That's something only the closest of male/female friends do iirc. Getting on her good side is irrelavent if she can't respect his boundaries. He was perfectly valid and her reaction further justifies it Except he wasn't there on a casual day out in Suna and honing his social skills. This is a mission and a very important one. Shikamaru instructed him to become friends and win them over, and Konohamaru did the opposite. While you could be right from a social perspective, this is a step back in completing what he was sent there to do by his superior. I mean, my point is it's kind of disappointing to see a sensei like Konohamaru fail the basics. Ultimately, it didn't matter much because Ryu still found their plan out, but still. |

| @babajeeds that's such a funny response, dude this isn't a romcom, this is a story, where the characters are in a mission to kill people. wait, was this satire? i find so funny how these Ninja act like they had no mental training whatsoever, Naruto acting re***d was a special case, now 30 year old Konohamaru can't hear his name with -chan, without feeling awkward and dude legit goes against his target, whom act like 5 year olds, Konohamaru sucks in Boruto, <<<<Azuma. Also that girl would've been booted from the team, if Kakashi was the jounin in charge, the moment they showed up, she can't keep it in her pants. |
