This feels kinda rushed imo and tying events together for Rio to take on. Seriously though, the characters he's going up against his big egos. For Rio, he's taking on a lot of responsibility. But whatever, the antagonists in this show were never interesting enough anyway. Two episodes left an they'll probably go with more climatic fighting. |

Hiroki shows some mettle, but all the video gaming was not a substitute for real training, and he makes poor use of his powers. Aisha with cool spear flip behead finishing move. Rio far too indecisive; he needed Aisha to kick his butt into action. He needs to move his style a bit more from the contemplative to the target seen, target acquired style. Who is going to take out the evil magician Reiss? |

Wait I must be going crazy. Did Hiroaki actually get off his ass and attempt to do something for once? Of course it failed and he got knocked out, but fairs it’s a start lol. Haruto showed up to save the day as expected but that damn Lucius still made off with Flora. I’m missing something tho. How do Haruto and Lucius know each other? Was this from last season or what? Been so long since season 1 I forgot lol Alphonse getting easily decapitated by Aishia cracked me up. It’s a shame the animation for that scene looks like a damn MS paint slideshow. Could’ve been a really cool moment with her taking out all the ghouls with the spear. Also feels like she and Haruto got nerfed too because whether by fault of the poor animation or just some other reason it looked like she was struggling at times against the ghouls. |

I have so many problems with this episode and this entire season as a whole. Like, the way haruto acts is so fucking unintersting. It didn't change too much from last season but it's definitly more noticeable among all the other problems. Also, i feel like haruto has been nerfed somehow. A show like this should Just be a nice and enjoyable Power Fantasy but they're absolutely failing. It's incredibly unsatisfying. All of this in addition to bad pacing, animation, dialogue, everything lmao and the downfall from season 1 is complete. I wouldn't even be mad if this was the season 1 of some garbage Anime but i really like season 1 so it's incredibly infuriating. Somehow, atleast every 1 in 2 episodes of anime I watch nowadays makes me incredibly mad. If I stopped watching Anime alltogether it would definitly not affect my mental health for the worse. |

Finally, our long awaited battle scene is here! But, it's rather slow??! Hiroaki finally went dumb to dumber. While the fight against those monsters were stopped after he woke up when the blonde girl saved his back, he finally have the gal to be worthy of being called a hero, but somehow, it was short. lmao 😅🥲 What an idiot for being too shallow that he went and slept yet again?! Aishia and Celia finally helped Haruto to fight against the monsters yet again, just so he can try and rescue our dear Princess Flora from the red-hair-maniac!!! and I get to see our lovely Aisha but most importantly, Celia, casting spells just to help Haruto! This guy literally said: "Huh...?" Me: "Check it yourself!" lmao Then, a girl, saving his life, while he sleeps. I need more CELIA!!! 😭😭😭 |

It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |

@DolFunDolphinVT Yea, but his actual combat capabilities are practically non existent and he only has a very vague idea on how to utilize his hero powers. Which is why the revenant and Reiss could knock him out with basically no effort at all. |

Nice to see them finally converging with the LN timeline. It's still somewhat rushed, but it's fairly clear to see where this is going to end. I guess S3 would be the banquet arc. 12 episodes is still brutally short to make anything with a story arc. The anime is still really just a cliff notes version of the story, which is somewhat sad. Wonder if S3 will even happen, given the ratings. |

@PrynnTze It's because they rush the story and it's just a very brief re-cap of what actually happens. The motivations are basically skipped over. Until now, the merged Rio/Haruto was mostly dominated by the Haruto persona, with somewhat Japanese sensibilities. He had quite the misfortune in both his lives and has become very closed off. But recently, he started to build attachments (even though he tries to avoid them). Now that he meets Lucius again, his Rio side and his thirst for vengeance will become more dominant for the next couple of arcs. To recap his lives and motivations: He goes from loss in his old life, separation from Miharu, seeing her with another guy before she disappears when he goes back to middle school, some more hollow years followed by death, re-incarnation with no memories, happy childhood taken away by Lucius brutally and starting his journey on vengeance, being orphan, getting memories back, building capabilities to actually enact vengeance (most of his school days were about training his sword and spirit arts so he can put up a fight) - at this point he was heading down to being a very closed off person that just wanted to enact vengeance then disappear. But Celia is the first that he is growing attached to and he starts to want to stop loosing the people he grows attached to and protect them. It's a bit of internal conflict. Then the rest of the gang join. And now Lucius is back, so his persona somewhat moves from Haruto to Rio and his quest to avenge his parents. He dose not want to bring the people he grows attached to into his mess, as he knows there is no bringing back what he lost and he is heading for a dark place even if he succeeds. I really got hooked by the story behind this in the LN, but the anime adaption is really just good to advertise the LN (and very badly at that). It's kind of sad, but understandable. These short 12 episode seasons are not enough to get any of that reflected and I see that the production team tries their best to get something reasonable out of it. But it's just missing most of the internal monologue and motivations that are driving the story. |

If Hiroaki wasn't so useless, he could have used his hero powers earlier to deal with Alphonse. Not that I expected much from him, but he still managed to disappoint me. As for Alphonse, they built up so much "tension and excitement" around his transformation, only for it to be a complete letdown. Aishia effortlessly cutting off his head was as funny as it was satisfying - definitely a moment to remember. Now, the long-awaited showdown between Lucius and Rio is on the horizon. Rio's quest for revenge for his mother's tragic death and abuse is finally near. Here's hoping this fight lives up to expectations and doesn't fall flat! |

They really need to get a better scenario rather than those shit cheap attempt to run away. Like, didn't the dude in robe telling them to escape, expectedly low profile since there's a strong enemy nearby? Only to be found out second later. I like Alphonse getting shit on by Aishia, tho the fight still underwhelming so idk how the next action with Rio gonna be. I also wish the final can resolve around the banquet premise tho. Need to know if this shit show still have a continuation, or, they just don't care anymore... |

My complain about this episode is that Aishia felt monsters in the mansion but they still had to wait to be informed if they are there, it doesn´t make sense at all. Aisha´s feelings are always right! I guess they wanted to give Hiroaki a time to shine, so that is why they did this. Aisha was so cool fighting. What I don´t like is the monsters.... they are too inexpressive... Finally, Haruto will fight against Lucius but again, he took a lot of time to rescue the poor princess. Poor Flora. Yes, I agree with the previous comment. Season 1 was so good, season 2 lacks in many ways, I hope if there is a next season that they can go back to the good stuff again. |

My gosh this season is just so dang bad it's nearly unwatchable. I'm not the type of person to hate on an anime just because it's animation isn't great or it's low budget. But put on top of the insanely slow pacing in this episode just like every episode so far. This was just the same darn fight the whole episode. Making matters worse the fights are all just soo darn poorly designed with bad CGI to boot. It's feels like half the fight is just characters standing around looking and then when they actually do move the animation makes the entire action feel so poor, slow and weak, it's not even funny. The story pacing couldn't be the only slow thing the fights are also just so slow and poorly paced they don't do anything other than make you feel bored. Regardless of the flaws the first season had, this is like a half assed poor effort extension to the first season which at the very least had decent pacing and fairly well animated fights. I mean look at the dragon fight in the first season vs whatever the heck these fights are supposed to be. TMS this is not acceptable production quality especially for a studio as large as this in the year 2024. We've waited over 3 years for this? The studio is capable of far better than this and proved so last season, get it together TMS geez. At the very least this studio doesn't look to be screwing up Dr. Stone science future based on the trailers. But then again a studio with a parent company as large as Sega shouldn't be incapable of making good animation. |

Seriously, this MC is terrible, Aisha detects monsters in the mansion, and he just ignores it, making pleasantries with others talk about an ignorant MC just to develop the plot. The villains are boring and unoriginal. I enjoyed this anime a lot in the first season. The 2nd one keeps going down hill. |

The pacing is too slow for a 12 ep anime. Animation is worse than what it started with aswell. I can't believe I will say this but the Hero is a little bit more likeable than Haruto on this specific episode. Haruto is too indecisive and too slow to act on things. Hopefully the final strings of episode can pull back some quality both in pacing and animation. It will be too disappointing if it just end up with a lot of filler talking and less of actual progression. |

surprised hiroaki actually did anything useful (not that he was flawless by any stretch of the imagination) also goddamn it Rio don't just sit there for 10 years letting them run away while you waffle about, freaking GO CATCH THEM. I kinda wish he got away because of that, it was so stupid. |

it feels realy weird, lots of cgi and the mc don't care about anything ... -omg the princess is getting kidnaped , mc: don't give a fuck about it and ask his waifus about what to do,and ofc they speak about what he is "feeling"... and the villans just doing evil stuff, come on , the first season had some real progress but the second season feels like the story is rushed and slow at the same time. i loved the vibe of the first season but the second one got me disapointed |

Good to see Hiroaki got some time to shine. He got knocked early but atleast later he redeemed himself by saving Roana. Well done there's atleast one girl who looks upto you and putting effort to save her is minimum requirement. He deserves one waifu atleast. People forget he is still just isekaid with 0 combat experience and counting that he did well. The problem with this episode and the entire anime is how slow it is. There's zero urgency in fights. Lucius stands with Flora NOT A SINGLE SOUL used long range magic and let him escape. Worst offender is Rio who just let him escape and didn't head Aishia words when she sensed danger and which resulted in Flora getting kidnapped anyway. Atleast Aisha's fight was kinda decent. Without useless Rio she did saved everyone. Atleast my best girl got some good action. Chopping off Alphonso head was real good. This dude was hyped up and end up nothing. Forced to run between his tail from Hiroaki and then Aisha didn't need break sweat. Easily best episode cause other episodes are even more ass. Animation is just... there ig. Rio is one of the worst mc I have seen in Isekai. First season was mid at best this is just next level bad. |

Well everything was leading up to this… Firstly, Hiroaka finally stepped up and he was about to clap all the cheeks, but blue haired dude had to stop his shine like that. That’s tough, but it is what it is. Flora has been kidnapped by Lucius and now Rio can finally get that revenge that he’s been training his life for, and we’ll see how that turns out… It’s just all out chaos and everyone is busy with their own battles, whether physical or internal, so let’s see how all these clashes turn out. |

Why isn't home boy fake Kirito up in that room before the monsters start jumping down. There was more enough time to get up there after that hydro pump action. Why wasn't he up there right when Aishia said there was a problem up there. Why are they able to group and attack after jumping down from the room? Fake Kirito boy should have been on top of them as they were landing or falling. This season is fucked. At least Aishia can get the job done. There was more animation in that fight than the rest of the second season so far. |

JFC, what a shitshow. It feels both rushed and slow at the same time how the fuck is that even possible? The lack of urgency when shit is going down is appalling. Flora’s in trouble and Aishia can feel that something is wrong. Yet, all we get is characters standing around waxing poetic about the state of affairs. WTF! It feels as if the episode is being held back to create tension, but all I feel is anger. Hiroaki is beyond useless being taken out by a sucker punch. Seriously, how can a hero be so vulnerable and powerless? The maids offered a better fight against those revenants than that idiot. Then he gets taken out again by the wizard of all people. All he can muster is a goddamn water slash against that other idiot Alphonse. At least Aishia and Celia were doing something against those revenants. Also, WTF is Haruto doing just standing around while the situation goes to shit around him? I understand being shocked about finally finding that red-haired bastard, Lucius, but c’mon get a move on it. It just seems as if they're trying their best to build up the fight and failing miserably. This is getting ridiculous with everyone standing around acting like idiots. Also, WTF was Roanna thinking just tossing Flora out of the room without verifying who it was she was handing her off to? It’s baffling how she just did that without a second thought considering all the soldiers outside had been taken out by the revenants. Fuck! This show is getting so aggravating with each passing episode. They’ve fumbled the pacing this season compared to the last one. I was hoping it would get better as the story developed, but I guess that’s asking too much. Fuck, sorry for the ramble. I'm just so disappointed. |

@stealthyone Pretty much exactly what I thought as well. And the talking monster guy didn't really even end up being much of a threat (except he maybe killed the blonde man forgot who he is). I have not found any other flashbacks of him. I may be remembering stuff from another source, particularly about him being in a mercenary team with Rio's dad and back stabbing him.
@LordCrueltyV pretty sure theres a longer flashback scene in the ep (9 maybe?) when Rio meets his grandparents. They ask rio share in full how his mom (their daughter) was murdered. And the flashback shows Lucius forcing potion down Rios throat, saying something quippy, looking manical as the mom gets home, gets stabbed as rio loses consciousness, ...this was supposed to be a helpful reply but not sure I achieved that. Oh rio does also mention Lucia's as mercenary partner w/ his pops and grandparents say it likely lucius killed him too. 🫠 |

It's epic and I can't wait for the next episode of Seirei Gensouki. I am hoping after season 2 is finished. They will leave room for Season 3! |

Goofy aah animation The hero gets knocked the fuck out by a single weak ass punch, and then wakes up and does all that crazy shit, nah bro don't give me that shit lol It's really funny to me that the one to kill shit ass Alphonse was Aishia and not Haruto lmao, or at least I hope he is really dead, that brat deserved to die in s1 lol |
Sorry if my english is bad (っ˘▽˘)っ~~~ Btw, cry about it. |

S1 was good but man this shit hurts to watch it’s so garbage I’ve seen shitty romance anime with no following or budget with better animation and plot and characters with corny ass drama that would never happen in the real world and it would have more to it than the “villains” in the is show. I don’t think I can bring myself to watch the last couple eps it’s just so bad dude |

Aishia is great in terms of power and Rio should defeat that evil guy. |
