| Fantastic episode and conclusion to the arc. Delivered exactly what the title said it would, but the execution was fantastic (particularly from the midway point). The reflection on Liko and Roy's history together was nice as a marker for their progress and then also worked to build towards Fuecoco's very expected and long overdue evolution. After that it was pretty obvious Roy was going to win the fight but the beautiful animation made it spectacular to watch. Looking forward to the next adventure as the new arc begins new episode. |

| Very good looking fight and finally the evolution of the last starter(they waited so long with this). I guess it's time to sum up this whole arc. I'm not gonna lie, I didn't like the first two arcs. Too many episodic adventures, unrelated to each other, and the episodes connected to the main plot were mostly boring. The characters didn't develop, the plot didn't progress, and we usually only saw Pikachu and Charizard in action. I was very happy when they showed the "Terastal debut" trailer in March, I thought "finally Paldea, finally some game content instead of looking for random Pokemon, because they were important to the plot + some fights with a group of characters(the Explorers) we knew nothing about". 21 episodes later, the anime creators have at least given us a semblance of a "Victory Road" scenario, the main characters finally started to develop and become independent, their pokemon finally evolved, we learned something about Explorers goal, the plot was consistent, so many well animated moment. Also the opening and ending themes "Will" and "Let me Battle" fit the atmosphere of the series very well. It was a pros of this arc, time for cons. For me, this arc was way too short. I know the anime has its own plot and tries not to duplicate the games, but come on, no Paradoxes, no Koraidon/Miraidon, no Team Star and almost no Arven. I was hoping for something more. Funny to think that Paldea is still treated way better here, than Galar in Journeys. But let's get back to what we got. The rules of this whole terastal course were weird. Kofu and Tulip were almost completely ignored in this anime. Why were Sango and Onyx even at this school? Probably just to get tera orbs. Wasted potential or no ideas for these characters. The whole sabotage and information theft could have been done faster, they left it until last because they wanted to end the arc with a fight. Overall, it's hard not to feel like the entire arc happened just to show the most popular characters from the game and at the same time give the protags tera orbs and develop them a bit as a trainers. Now I'm almost certain that the action of the new arc will focus mainly on the search for Kleavor and Entei. RVT will most likely go to Kitakami just because of the Crystal Pool and the Teal Mask characters are just promo bait and they will probably get as much screentime as gym leaders in Paldea. Kieran will probably show up for a few seconds, just like Arven. Anyway, I really want to see Carmine and Perrin animated and finally hear them, so i still want to see what awaits us in the future episodes. |

| This was a great episode god dam though what a battle Kilowatrell was putting the work on Liko's team, what I love about this show is it really feels like the mc's are getting real development because back during the first few episodes they'd just spam attacks but now they have genuine strategies to there fights, That feint from Liko was great even if it was kinda unintentional. Like back during the original series Ash just immediately knew how to fight instead of getting real development. I also love that all the mc's Pokémon are steadily evolving, Unlike Ash who somehow fails to evolve like half his team Pikachu was the only one with a good excuse. Fuecoco even finally evolved only took him 6000 years. We even got to see a glimpse of that dude with the dying dog. Definitely most hyped to see where the story goes from here its very unique unlike the other series where Ash would just go to gym to gym. Not hating on the original series but its kinda bland after a while. I still think Horizons is better than most the original series with the exception of one or two. |

| It was sweet to remember that battle of them just throwing attacks without thinking about it at first and how now Liko creates battle tactics on the fly and alters moves. I ended up liking a bit the OP but I don't like the new one at all, I'm really going to miss the ED, at least it gave me a new artist to follow, love 9lana's voice. |
| After this episode, assuming that the next generation will have a new set of protagonists (which I hope so), a full 6vs6 Liko vs Roy battle has to be one of the final episodes, with Meowscarada and Skeledirge. |
| When the whole school started chanting, I knew Liko was cooked. Still, Floragato did pretty impressively in going up against a flying type and a fire type. |

| Oh yes, Roy's Fuecoco finally evolved during his battle against Liko, and with his new Crocalor it's no surprise that he won the battle this time, also I liked the flashbacks for both of them during the battle |
