| Ren's Hero deck feels very OP to draw til seven cards and make all Hero cards cost nothing that turn. I was pretty sure that the title of the episode was hinting at a Tsubasa win but I'm glad at the turnout. TsubaRen is turning out to be the Joey x Mai ship I didn't know I needed. And it looks like their arc continues next week, possibly adding Miki into it? Love. |

She even has the wheeler hair style and Flamesworsds men π Tsubasa always kind of struck me as a Mai-type character but it didn't really hit me that Ren is Joey until this episodes when it clicked that Swordcraft is basically warrior type from YGO. Though, you can also compare them to Jaden/Judai x Jesse/Johan from GX since Ren's Hero deck is closer in design to the E-Heroes and Tsubasa's Jewel deck is kinda like the Crystal Beasts xD |

| So... Ren's Hero deck is basically "Exodia"... draw til you have all hero card for almost guaranteed win. Also, LOL @ above comments... totally true, Tsubasa x Ren = Mai x Joey. (actually, a lot of characters and card play are inspired from Yu-Gi-Oh s1, the original king of card games) |
