| feels every chapter the story went to another direction and i don't know what to expect to this, not in good way. the character also really not consistent. make me remember hungry marie and cop & dolphin. |

| So no time-skip like I expected, instead a chapter focusing on him raising Mamoru. He really didn't notice Mamoru wasn't smiling anymore until looking at the photos? Like, in those photos he couldn't be anymore clearly unhappy, moving around in his harness and crying, he really didn't notice his baby was upset while walking around with him? For someone who's entire character is gushing over how much he loves his wife and baby, that's a baffling oversight on his part. I do kinda like the idea of the message (I'm iffy on that too) but they execution here didn't work for me at all. Mamoru was cute in several of the panels though, so it wasn't a complete waster. |

| Oh ok. so it will be "single father" story? Kinda expected from first chapter but now giving timeskip at least before saving Kareri would be weird or axe foreshadowing. I get him being happy about that making him a little more oblivious, but I don't believe it could make someone ignore the fact their baby spent all day crying or whining right on your chest. I believe most people would notice that. If we saw the day and showed thoughts of him acknowledging it and brushing it aside because Mamoru's still just adjusting to it, that would've made much more sense. Like, just have him have the little talk to Mamoru about how he's sorry but this is better than giving him up to the facility during or after the walk. It still accomplishes the same exact thing of showing him as not a perfectly selfless father who makes mistakes. I don't see what the benefit of making him ignorant of Mamoru's clear emotional distress until he looks at the photos, especially since he already knows Mamoru doesn't like them from the night before. |
| okay yeah this is .. pretty messy(?) idk i tried looking at it in a positive direction but im rly feeling what most ppl here are now lol poor sawada had to indude those. being a parent of a baby is alr hard enough as it is but a super baby just tops it off lmao |
