Damn, this episode had a sad atmosphere including that montage song (although that montage did have some silly moments in itself)

I was also kinda surprised they added a maid cafe into the episode lol. Next episode should be more exciting, hopefully.

As much as the Dractors are inevitable, Arshem's idea of co-existence still is priority between humans (Terraash) and space aliens (Sidr). Except that the way that she tries to converse with Yamato through a relationship seems kinda cliche.

It's ironic how Kiyoka is the last to learn of the world that's falling into the hands of space aliens, and with no time to waste, no errors are afforded. But it's kinda eluded how both Teru and Commander Minami had that sort of feeling going on, especially with the bed scene. Both of them are the closest of what Arshem and Yamato are going through currently, and they're already ahead of the pack.

To destroy Earth to find a new place to live in, it certainly took everyone's lives to achieve that. At least it's so...and it does not take long for Yamato to get Arhem accustomed to the Earth's ways. The insert montage song coupled with the sad atmosphere is a contrast to the severity of the situation, yet the maid cafe for assistant Sarzant to distract Grieffas and learn of future developments is waning. Drisconti is the first of the all-out threat, and Yamato and the rest are gonna need Arshem's plans to scout this final battle out.

Only 2 episodes to go, and with the exclusive Switch game that has sales bombed in Japan, there's just no hope for this show anymore to touch a pinch even its home country. Level-5 as a developer really just is a lost cause for games.

This is what Amuro dreamed of with Matilda Ajan in 0079. Except the idea of sleeping with someone potentially hundreds of years younger is some Brigadoon: Marin and Melan stuff. At least they don't lead this story with that kind of relationship like Brigadoon did. I guess this anime wants to be wish fulfillment for all people. Though if my wishes were granted, I would never have to see a maid cafe ever again.

This show, minus a couple low points, is interesting and watchable. It's a damn shame it's gonna end while Kyoukai Senki is going to have 14 more episodes to disappoint everyone with its mediocrity. At least this show was fun while it lasted.

I... ok, I certainly did not expect an implied cross-species sex scene to appear in this show. At least that gave more character to Teru and Minami, exploring their corresponding backstories. Up until then they hadn't stood out that much.

On another note, during the bonding montage between Yamato and Arshem, does anybody know what the first movie poster (the one on the left) was referencing? I got that the other two were Titanic and The Girl who Lept Through Time.

Oh, and in another note we now know that Arshem's bodyguard attends a maid cafe. Huh, weird scene but kinda funny nonetheless.

Things are finally starting to get more engaging... as we are approaching what looks to be a season finale (since the second one has an entry on MAL now, unless it gets cancelled that is).
