| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- OOOOOOHHHH very clever. Giganos wasn't trying to destroy the Dragonars and/or kill the pilots; they were trying to capture them, by causing huge devestation to the area, creatings lot of injured people and concentrating the population at the makeshift hospital, and hoping that the pilots would turn up there. 16 years old and they're already promoted to lieutenant? And they're piloting the awesome Dragonar mechs? What are these kids complaining about? They're living the dream! They've had to put in next to no effort! They just have to spend a few hours adventuring every now and then, salute their superiors, and spend the rest of their time lazying around onboard the ship, and maybe attend a half hour long lecture from their instruction once a week. They don't have to scrub the decks or do some serious studying of the mechanics of their mechs or be involved in its maintenace or anything. Wait a minute, why are the Giganos operatives shooting at Ken? If they want to kill the Dragonar pilots, then why didn't the empire just pelt the whole area in rocks? |
