Noooo the lieutenant died! :(

Kaine will want to go rescue the refugees (and maybe the crew) of the Idaho from Giganos. Realistically the refugees would probably be released but given how cartoony this show has been, I wouldn't be surprised if the refugees are being held in a prison camp for... reasons. Depending on how realistic the show decides to be, either they're going to try infiltrating the colony the Idaho was taken into (first colony infiltration mission in Gundam before War in the Pocket? Well, the second, if you consider Judau infiltrating Axis to find Leina in ZZ to be the first), or Light is going to go "yeah, but we're just 3 guys and have no hope of doing that, let's regroup with the rest of Earth's military".

This was a good episode. The gang applied the lessons they learned from the lieutenant and grew their skills. I am very satisfied with their development so far. I'm a little disappointed that the lieutenant is already dead, I was hoping we'd have some more time with him, but he seems to have fulfilled his purpose.

Like the other guy said, the next episodes will probably involve saving the crew of the Idaho and then going to Earth.
