| well, they're going the "evil" route here like Yu-Gi-Oh did. Where the tops of the game tournies are controlled by evil dudes that's trying to take over the world or something similar, lol. Except it doesn't really meant anything in Shadowverse, cause unlike Yu-Gi-Oh, the Shadowverse is literally a "card game" where as Yu-Gi-Oh-verse is ancient game with magic that can literally kill people. Shadowverse just knocks people out of the game. (no real lost, except maybe the prize money) Even the later Yu-Gi-Oh world without magic, tech in Yu-Gi-Oh-verse is up to the point where the monsters literally materialize in the real world that can deal physical damage and thus actually kill people. |
