and even more flashbacks... yawn. meet some grandmaster we never heard of or knew existed before. learn he was found and brought into the clan as an outsider even though that was never suggested before. this is why excessive flashbacks aren't good. you start adding too many new elements, or having to re-work previously mentioned items

big uncle sausage sliding on his knees was funny. otherwise that whole scene was whack. they literally just got done talking about killing all the animals just a few episodes earlier in season 1. the little spiders running away in fear was way too cartoonish (seriously, wtf was that? season 1 never had scenes like that). i'm already worried this "season" is getting away from what made season 1 good. we shall see

In this episode, we see future Tang San attempt to steal the scripture in order to revive the Tang clan by sending a vision to his past so IT IS NOT A FLASHBACK really. By doing so, Tang San carries similar powers of his mother and father, he is told by the old man to carry the hammer on the left hand (Tang Hao) and protect the blue plant on his left hand (Yin). Doing so will preserve his family's history. Halfway of the episode we see "present" Tang San wakes from like a dream like vision and successfully obtained a 2000 year old soul power transformation. Present Tang San believes that his future self has to be a dream, his adopted sister (best friend not his actual sister, though they made a sibling pact) Xiao Wu, reassures him that it wasn't a dream (which is a little suspicious but it's likely she doesn't know that he's dreaming of). Tang San tries to figure out what caused his mutation (a soul ring never mutates, as Martial Soul does mutate his new power (Tang San realizes that there was no explanation to the 8 demon spider legs he had obtained).

Oscar tries to support Ning, Rongrong by giving her sausages (LOL), she rejects his offer. Oscar has the perfect power for any females.

My explanation is not going to be perfect so I may miss a few things for this episode's summary.
