----------------------------------------
As soon as the thief found out through Georgie that the Captain was going to have the police do a search to find the jewel thief, he tried to kill her by giving her a poisoned cup of tea. That was when Skiffins approached her to ask once again about the bracelet, if she truly didn't know anything about the girl he was looking for. When he asked her before, she wanted to tell him, but couldn't because Catherine was listening, and she didn't want to break her innocent heart by coming out as a girl in front of her, but now they were alone, so she told him the truth after offering him the tea.

Unfortunately, he took a sip of it, and it was enough to kill him, he couldn't even tell her the whole truth about her origin, all that he could say to her was that her father was in London, and that he asked him to look for her. The captain doesn't even had his address, and it is really sad that he had to die like this, since he was most certainly a relative of her, who spent all of those years looking for her. But well, the thief realized what happened, and to try and frame Georgie for Skiffins' death, he stole his bag and put it on her bed, and they thought that she was a thief, and a killer so they tried to throw her in the ocean, while Catherine tried to save her. This ended up tearing her shirt apart and revealing that she was in fact a girl. She said to Catherine that she was sorry, but Catherine said that even if she were a girl, she was still an important person to her, and covered Georgie with her shawl.

But the thief insisted on blaming her, and that was when he mentioned the silver comb that no one knew about, and it delated him. He tried to run away, but Junior helped to save the day by attacking him, and exposing the jewels that he stole from the passengers. But unfortunately he managed to escape by falling into the sea, and since they were so close to London already, he may yet appear for a "revenge" against Georgie or something, and Skiffins died because of him. But well, Georgie is finally in London, and she's already going to meet Lowell! And speaking about him, his sickness seems to be really serious, he even collapsed, he might be done for... I don't like this at all...

Kenny was finally discovered as the thief on the ship, and when he fell overboard, he didn't resurface. It's his fault that Skiffins is dead. Skiffins didn't live long enough to tell Georgie the name of her father, but she knows that he lives in London, so hopefully she'll be able to track his residence down somehow.
