It seems to be a slash wound at his back and Kakunojo probably isn't that physically strong. IRL obviously, he'd be done, but in anime terms that's a minor scratch! I'm hoping that old samurai Shinzo (excuse spelling if I remember wrongly- the guy also good with preparing vegetables) has been dispatched to rescue him. As Kakunojo seems to have an evil eye colour when she's next to the Lord's Head and a goody eye colour when she's not, I'm guessing she will resist the red eye control by force of will and defeat it in goody-mode together with Akidzuki near the end. I'd look to see the old knight vs a samurai, which I'm sure we will. |

| Those British spies aren't useless, they just can't overcome the power of the Head of the Conqueror. I bet only Akidsuki can... though he's already tried twice. Idk how he'll defeat the Head at this rate. I'm disappointed that the prospect of them becoming an evil fighting couple has been ruined... =( Why is it that evil fighting duos are so rare?? In anime and other wise.. |

| This episode is really good, straight to battle, I loved it, So Rook died, his death showed the menacing power of the head, I love to see the knight in action against a powerful samurai, instead of weak soldiers, Hijikata's evil aura thing was true all along, didn't expect Yuyama to be it, I wonder how Akizuki will survive, the next episode is gonna be intriguing. |
