| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Not bad this episode. They hyped up the mind game between that death row prisoner and Kobayashi. Imo, this was the most dangerous case they took on yet. Someone from the detective team could of easily died. That gunfight was fierce! Kobayashi and Akeichi were awesome this episode. Can't say I'm too surprised about that death row guy getting killed at the end. It didn't look like he was going to live from the beginning. What a cliffhanger D: |

| Wth...ahh just when things started to look good, this happens! Overall it was a very nice episode The gun scene with Akechi was nice too I hope Kobayashi will be okay, I really wanna see him and Hanasaki together again!! I hope we'll get to find out more about Kobayashi's past Can't wait for next week's episode! |

| This episode was above average. Looks like Kobayashi begin to remember his past, thanks to that mind game. The case was the most dangerous and I wasn't sure how it'll end. So Fukiya guy in the end was messenger from 20 Faces and still died, well that Fukiya death was expected. And....Kobayashi got shot!? Is he going to die? Darn, I can't wait now. So much hype! And new animation on ending, I like it better. |
| It seems like Koyabashi had a pretty bad childhood judging by those flashback scenes. on top of that it looks like his power lets him get hurt when he's sincerely and selflessly wanting to help somebody. |

| Everyone almost died because of the dumb father and mother. Akeichi saved them in time, but Kobayashi got shot saving Hanasaki. Kobayashi is remembering his past because of the word game. |

| So we reach the end of yet another average episode. I think most of the people in this show use firecrackers instead of bullets, It's probably some new firecracker that disintegrates with sparks as it travels. I'm sure of it. Damn, Kobayashi got hit because of a defective firecracker. Really need to sue the company that makes those firecrackers, Damn it people, You don't see that the real villain is the firecracker company and not Twenty faces or whoever. Anyway, stupid jokes aside. The bit about Kobayashi's past was pretty interesting. So his power is a result of his unstable psychological state. Now that he's making friends and working as a detective his unstable mind state is slowly being placated resulting in him losing his powers and getting hit. That being the said I found the line " It's not uncommon for children with unstable psychological mind states to develop power" to be unusual because we haven't seen any other ability user apart from Kobayashi so the whole line seems to be contradictory since it is uncommon to see people with powers. So the prisoner guy died in the end, Interesting. |

| About time we are getting some insight on kobayashi. And he got injured. It's nice to see that the character development is moving forward now and I'm curious as to what comes next. It will a really good episode. Best episode in a while. |

| The moment Kobayashi started having flashbacks I felt a little relieved. From the very start of this series I have been wanting some back story to come in for Koba-. |

| Akechi arrives and saves the day. The red hair guy's gang extends even to the police and the killer was with 20 faces apparently. Kobayashi gets some memories back and saves hanasaki and gets shot :O |

| So glad we get to see a little bit of Kobayashi's past and from the looks of those flashes it wasn't nice. Hopefully we get more insight on it later and I hope Koba survives that gunshot; he's the main protagonist after all (Hanasaki is the deuter-protagonist) even if this whole series was of him wanting to die. I still hope he survives. |

They weren't really siding with him... They were trying to take him to the courthouse so he can stand trial and get punished by the law but they were attacked midway. I understand the parents wanting to avenge their daughter but they were obstructing justice. |
