Nice duel, always knew Yuya would creatively use his pendulum cards because of their flexibility. Found some of his speeches to be a bit dragged but I'm fine with it.

I wish the whole duel concentrated on their duel though, oh well can't be helped if the story is also about more than that. Entermage Paladin is awesome but I really liked the way Yuya synchro summoned with his combo. What a boss. Same with Jack Atlas advancing his synchro, DOUBLE TUNING, Red Demon Dragon Tyrant :D

Actually, Yuya Synchro summoned Nirvana with Cheermole as tuner. Nirvana's effect is : when Nirvana is synchro summoned, it can treat one Pendulum monster as a tuner monster.

Wasn't so sure, but now I rewatched it, and you can clearly see that Enlightenment gets turned into the Synchro rings instead of Cheermole, while Cheermole was in the rings (in the anime, Tuners always get turned into a column of Synchro rings, while the non-Tuners are placed in the column).

the best part of the next episode preview was jack laughing for the first time in the synchro arc

Umm, I'm not referring to Enlightenment being a Pendulum Monster, I'm talking about Cheermole. Cheermole is a Pendulum Monster, right? And it's clearly said in the card that "If you would Synchro Summon this card, You can treat 1 Pendulum Summoned Pendulum Monster you control as a Tuner." So I think in this case, Cheermole, the Pendulum Monster, is the one being treated as "Tuner Monster".

There is nothing new about anime eff being different than RL eff.

More importantly Jack using Crimson Dragon power in his chant before doing Double Tuning.

The anime effect of Nirvana allows it to be synchro summoned by tributing a synchro monster and a pendulum summoned monster whose levels equals his. Hence why enlightenment was used as the tuner instead of cheermole.

Loved how Jack Atlas did his famous Double Tuning in this episode. We even get to see a cameo of the Crimson Dragon before of it!

This episode had me constantly at the edge of my seat. The duel managed to power up both players and they will continue to surpass their limits! Tons of other things happened this episode as well, one of the most important being that Security is no longer under mind control and that Yuzu has been saved by Sora and Tsukikage.

Everyone's eyes are now on the duel. We've come this far, that means that the Syncro arc is almost over.

You just know that this duel will end phenomenally!

Which makes me hopeful that the Numbers cards will show up in the XYZ arc. There are still a dozen or so numbers that don't have a card.

The duel continues and dam it is awesome. Yuya unveiled Paladin, it was awesome.

So Yuya found a happy medium of following in his dad's footsteps and also finding his own way.

While this is going on the others are beating up Security and calming the city down. We are so closed to rescuing Yuzu.

Well we are only a couple of episodes away from the 100th episode, I wonder if they have anything big planned?

Yuzu was already saved this episode by Sora and ninja blue, they only need to leave the building and they are home free.

How important do you think Yugo is? Do you think he end up like Yuto? Yuya already learned fusion and synchron, so that probably won't happen. So far Yugo haven't contributed much to the story though.

Just when I was about to give up on this series, it FINALLY came through. Everything up until this point was pretty predictable, but it was nice to see that change with this episode. I thought that whole thing with Jack hating on Yuya was warranted before, but the reasoning behind it made it even more so. Great episode!

FRICKING EPICNESS!!!!

This episode was intense and alot of stuff happen.

Jack and Yuya conitnue thier duel, while Yuya tried to use Enligment Paldadin to beat Scarlight, but failed. Jack told him, in order to win he needs to create his own pendulum summon way and create a future for him aswell. Enter Nirvana High Paladin and Jack Even got the Tyrant Red Dragon Arcfiend *y*

Overall: 10/10

epic duel. New Card of yuya. Tytrant Dragon Op, Jack doing cool stuff, Yuya saying stuff.
very nice. Dang. Probably the final showdown Yuya vs Jack.
hmm Yuya definitely wins. or a tie. Jack definitely not gana win because Yuya had the flashbacks and stuff going on. its a sign he's going to win.

also i noticed in the OP when the 2 mysterious riders are racing its maybe a reference to Jack vs Yusei because the Dragon is Red and Yusei is blue. Unless its Yuya vs Yugo. Yugos is blue.
but I'm leaning on the idea its Jack and Yusei.
Speaking of Yusei, the Enjoyment guy said nobody has ever gave Jack a good challenge to Improve himself. (or something like that) so this duel he's evolving more.
i guess Yusei hasn't filled the shoes for Jack to improve here in this world and Yuya is the person who is fulfilling the role.

Man yugioh series is too epic! i don't want arc v to end 😖
it goes up to 148 ep and it's ep 97 rn.
we still gotta take a look in the xyz world and fusion world.
but before that, common show this worlds yusei! a cameo!.
or the other members like Aki.
