I couldn't believe Mikasa parents allow her to go to Eren house by herself in that ship. Anything could have happen during that journey all by herself. Bad parenting right there people. |
| Nice to see how much Eren means to Mikasa and she's a good daughter. Eren being Eren, he's exposing her to danger and cruelty again. He's a bad influence. I thought the Colossal was going to attack this chapter lol |
| Wow! A lot happened for Mikasa, in such a short amount of time... Mikasa was so happy to go on the ship, where she saw the birds fly, and landed peacefully in Shiganshina. Then, the bell suddenly rang, and the Survey Corps came back. It was nice for Eren to already be standing there, waiting for Mikasa. (Although, is giving Grisha back his hat, a good enough reason to travel?) I think Eren standing up for what he believes in is admirable, but to punch every person who badmouths the Survey Corps and to get beaten every time... How is Eren not tired of that? >< Poor Mikasa, she must have been frightened! Mikasa was so sheltered in her house, with her parents, and only Grisha and Eren to visit them, so to suddenly be exposed to such violence must have been a shock. You can truly see how scared Mikasa was, and she considered hurting the man who was punching Eren, with that broken bottle top. Mikasa really wanted to protect Eren, yet it must have been strange to see everyone watch her nine-year-old friend get 'disciplined.' :/ Mikasa's a great friend for keeping her promise to Eren, about not talking about what happened... But, I have a feeling Grisha and Carla already have an idea of how Eren got hurt. There was no way his bruises resulted from just tripping. I agree that it wasn't very safe for Mikasa to go to Shiganshina alone on that ship... What if someone pushed her off the ship? What if something were to happen? But thank goodness, she was safe and sound, and ate her lunch in peace. <3 I think Mikasa's parents would have gone with her, if her mother wasn't bedridden...and her father probably wanted to stay at home, to take care of his wife. It's great that Mikasa started seeing Eren every five days. Although, I do hope Mikasa's mother will get better... >< I wonder how doll-making went for Mikasa. It would have been cute, if she made dolls that resembled her family, and Eren and Grisha. :) But overall, hearing Eren talk about the outside world (oceans, lava, snow, and sand), and seeing him beaten up... This all intensifies Mikasa's desire to stay with Eren, especially since she knows she can't convince him to not join the Survey Corps and see the outside world. Our sheltered girl is truly stepping out of her shell. |
