The Christmas atmosphere bought a bit of holiday spirit to this episode too. Kinda fun seeing Kanou around too. I find her personality to be amusing. Fun Christmas & New Year episode. <3 What you can't do today, you can do it tomorrow, or promise that you'll do it next year instead. xD I lol'd at Sylphn ringing the bell first for the New Year. xDD I never knew Taihei's pretty chief at work was the same year as them (their classmate?) during high school. But Kanou still has feelings for Taihei. Unrequited love.. :c |

| The part with Kanau really got to me. She loves Taihei, but probably noticed long ago that he doesn't give it back. And her being alone at home with her wine made me a bit sad. Bomber and Umaru make a sick team when it comes to chilling, eating and drinking. Those two are massive fun xD Umaru going to her normal form waiting for Taihei to arrive home...that was cute. |

But I seriously feel for Kanau, being so close to Taihei, yet never TRULY having the courage to confess to him her feelings. I guess it's because of her position in the company and the general notion that co-workers shouldn't date each other, thus, her spending time alone sadly. Other than that, I really liked this episode, it shows the usual cute interactions between Umaru and Taihei during the holidays. Kinda sad that they skipped the whole Christmas party with Kirie, but it was necessary for cramming in Kanau's development. Also love her response to wearing a Kimono. She's much better wearing her own casual clothing anyways. c: |

| Very nice and quite funny episode yet again, although the after-credits part was a slight bummer. At least Kanou got a nice photo as present. By the way, does anyone else feel like this episode could have been a really good ending for the show (with some changes)? Reflecting on what happened during the year, celebrating Christmas and New Year's, and Umaru maybe being seriously serious with changing her attitude a bit. Edit: Wow, Kanou is voiced by the same VA as Ryuuko Matoi. I didn't hear that at all! |

| LOL Sylpyhn always wanted to be the first in everything, even rang the bell that's supposed to be on New Year's time. The scenes about kotatsu were just so warm and cute. Lmao Umaru swapped the 500 yen with 5 yen ahahah~ Nice side story about Kanou. Wow she became a chief while her best friends became her underlings. But of course, just like everywhere else, it's pure commercialism with presents, santa, trees and KFC. Yup. | Pretty obvious now who the two are who are interested in Taihei are and I find it tough to decide who I'd prefer. This was a pretty good view of the life of a salaryman working on Christmas eve (which is actually a time for parties and the biggest date night of the year). Regardless of how successful Taihei and Kanou are (Bomber is another matter), I'm sure their lives would be a lot happier if they weren't in their positions. |
