It's getting quite interesting. More people knowing about the future thing. Very good show until now. And more importantly it's exciting not like couple of these kind of anime which usually has slow pace.

Takumi's words are sweet but dangerous.

More and more people are getting to know about Mirai's existence, at this point I am really not sure what is in store next.
What if everything is a ruse by Takumi? What if he is more patriotic and wants to change history completely? So many questions need to be answered.
I don't know why people write that they are approachable persons,
if you were you wouldn't be on MAL.

Extended families or lovers on MAL are a farce.

Absolutely blown away by the complexity of this series. Doesn't feel like anime at all. It feels like I'm traveling with the Peace Corps through the jungles of history.
As things stand now, this situation is untenable. It will take an unprecedented level of mutual trust for this to not end up really bad. Who is really on who's side?

I was just informed in my profile about your reply, it's been 2 years since I've seen this.
Although I'm glad I posted this. Will keep reminding me about it whenever someone put a reply. It really worth it!
Have fun !

Yup, I haven't enjoyed a series this much since Ajin. And maybe this is even a tad better. And it offers insight into historical Japan and how people conducted themselves back then. I was impressed!

The plot thickens!
Kusaka's subordinate has caught wind of what's up with him and the existence of a 21st-century crew and warship only worsen the situation. The fact that Kusaka is so composed and so appreciative to everyone only made him more suspicious, even now as he stood behind his subordinate.

However, there is one thing that he certainly believes. He wants to end the war as quickly as possible with the fewest casualties as possible, to that end, I think Mirai will ultimately be left to question whether they should intervene or stray from the war as they have done so for the past month and I do believe they would do the former...

Well, the quickest way to end a war is to lose it.

This series is set before Franklin Roosevelt's glib and irresponsible policy of "Unconditional Surrender" was decided on in January 1943 so if Japan were to offer sweepingly disadvantageous peace terms (to itself), such as uncompensated withdrawels from the conquests of 1941-42 as well as China (which this series has so far failed to mention) perhaps it could have peace very quickly. If that were to be attempted the army and navy would likely mutiny, though, not to mention getting anyone in the Japanese government to play along.
