| Ruka and Rua lost, but that's no surprise. Yusei's even more motivated to get on the Acel Synchro stuff now. I hope there's more skateboard riding duels in the future. That was really cool to watch. |

Their safety was at stake; we've known ever since Wisel was used by Ghost that dueling against the Meklord monsters means that damage becomes real. The only reason that Rua and Ruka survived without injuries is because Rua was protected by the Crimson Dragon and Ruka was protected by the spirits. The animation here was nice. Everything looked smooth and the animation of the movements during the duel looked fluid. Of course Rua and Ruka losing was expected, but they lost pathetically especially Ruka who barely accomplished anything, plus Luciano had 2200 LP left. Also we got our first clue that Luciano, Placido and Jose can alter time. |
| The twins seem to struggle with coming out on top. Which is weird, because I thought they were supposed to be pretty powerful duelists. It's weird that they are both so inexperienced. And, we're coming back around to Accel Synchros. |

| Rua trying to get back at Luciano by equipping Meklord was great, especially when he had been THE equip guy since the beginning. Too bad he didn't succeed. |
