| I'd totally want one! Favorite anime this season, its so underrated and unbelievably funny. Havent read the manga yet but i bet there is alot of material for a 2nd anime adaptation. |

| I believe there's enough material for a 2nd season, but you know it depends on all the sales for another decent season or we might get some crap animation from some shitty studio like White Fox. |

| I feel certain that there is not going to be a second season. Based on the "Amazon Stalker points", this series is amazingly unpopular in Japan. In fact, this is the most unpopular series that I can recall watching. "Amazon Stalker points" are a measure of the number of pre-orders that people are placing in advance of the dates that the Blu-rays and DVDs go on sale. BD = Blu-ray disk DVD = DVD BDSE = Special Edition Blu-ray, which includes extra stuff DVDSE = Special Edition DVD, which includes extra stuff So, for example, Volume 1 does not go on sale until December 24th. But you can go on the internet and place your pre-order now. V1 Dec24 BD 332 DVD 129 BDSE 69 DVDSE 129 V2 Jan30 BD 321 DVD 154 ... ... V3 Feb27 BD 345 ... ... ... V4 Mar18 BD 389 ... ... ... V5 ... V6 ... These numbers are all current as of just this minute. Sorry, but I got too lazy to look up every single number. I hope you get the basic picture. I really don't understand why this series would not be popular in Japan. It is one of my favorites this cour. But I recall that the series which I have liked the most often have been very unpopular in Japan. In any case, there are the light novels to read some day. My impression is that a lot of very interesting things happen, including revealing more of the backstories. Thank you for pointing that out! Mitsudomoe is a very funny anime that sold terribly, around 300-400 BDs, and it got a second season that was 8 episodes long (3/4 of a cour). This could also go that route and have a second season. |
