Should we change Dan's Banana Den into a secret club and recruit strictly via scouting?

| Recently it's been proposed that changing this club from public to secret may improve member comfort level, member participation and fit the nature of this group better. A public subgroup is also proposed together with this change. The difference between a public MAL club (right now) and a secret club (proposed change) is whether people outside the club can see it. Should we worry about intimidating the other users? Is this our problem? How far are you willing to go to protect the sensibilities of the "lesser" users of this website? What do you guys think about this? |
