I didn't think Midori's former patner would appear so soon, twist after twist.

I'm not even enjoying the manga at this point, but I guess I'm this far and sadly already bought both volumes, so I might as well finish it.

In today's episode of absolutely nothing yuri happens at all, Aoba and Midori go to an all-guys' school and marvel at how handsome one of the guys is. Then Midori is gone for a whole chapter as Aoba gets revenge on said guy for assaulting a girl in the most one-dimensional side plot I've ever seen. Apparently we're all just supposed to agree men are big bad scary monsters who attack women for no reason and they should all go to jail and grovel, despite not even being told how serious the incident was at all. No explanation about the situation that could have motivated the assault, no reason he should have been penitent afterwards if he was just a psychopath, he already paid a fine for "whatever happened" (we don't even know, as I said), literally none of this makes sense.

Then we're back to Aoba and Midori being extremely platonic (or maybe barely even friends is a better way to put it?) as Midori wishes Aoba would go away so she can continue being a fujo, hating girly things, and getting pissed off at Aoba's cheerful femininity. Not one sign in this whole volume of yuri; I would have never considered this a yuri manga if I just picked it up blind and it didn't claim it was on the back cover.

Never thought I'd be ranting so hard about a "yuri" manga, but sheesh, thought this would be another cute lesbian Morinaga story and instead it's every trope I dislike in manga apart from the all-girls' school setting. Super disappointed.
