reiwa weebs will unironically tell u they want a remake or sequel but when they get it ,its suddenly souless and a cashgrab cause they dont like the thing anymore and cant fathom they grew out of it and must mean the show somehow became bad

@MiraStraussFan99 how was this a trash chapter. Just coz gray defeated him in one punch. Even erza defeated opponents many times with one slash. You have problem with that as well. As for gray after he got enchanted by wendy with dragon slayer magic, he slashed viernes with zero devil sword at least 2 times before that punch. He even burned him with ice flame and in this chapter attacked with demon make glittering ice, and then the mean right punch which was powered by devil slayer maker magic air particles.

@Jatin587 For me the fight in this last chapter made no sense at all:

Gray: I said we're going to make this a resistance contest... But I lied!

Me: Why did you do it? Was it necessary?
So... he is using Devil Slayer magic to make the air immune to alchemy?

Gray: I didn't use it, I MADE it.

Me: And what does that mean? Does all of this make sense?

Gray: ........Dunno, but I win!

Edit: oops, I forgot commenting about the Lacrima, Wendy needed a particular spell to make it appear, for Gray it appears when he wins because “why not?”. And in front of Viernes, not on his back.

Instead of making an element, he made the air into magic particles of devil slayer itself. Plus, his last two attacks of glittering ice and the mean right punch were enhanced with dragon slayer magic along with demon slayer particles.
instead of strengthening his ice attacks with demon magic, gray did the reverse. He created devil slayer particles and used them.
Veirnes could not counter it as it was not an element based magic, but a type of slayer magic itself was being used here. Pure devil slayer magic.
And yes, gray did bluff him about freezing the air. actually, I think the air was frozen by gray for a while in order to trick viernes. so that he could buy some time to create Devil slayer magic.
another thing is I noticed that viernes actually took damage from the two slashes from gray's ice make devil slayer swords before countering it.as the devil slayer magic did not exist 400 years prior. so it took him some time to counter it.
