If I’m remembering correctly, I believe I showed it to my mom but she wasn’t interested. She’s watched other anime like Yona of the Dawn and liked that, but I guess she prefers more action.

I actually have shown a lot of anime to my mom. Her favorite is Hunter x Hunter but she also really likes Tower of God and Apothecary Diaries.

Not much with my mom. We watched Attack on Titan and she really liked it. She fangirled over Levi haha ​​I plan on showing her Death Note too. I watch most anime with my sister, a few with my aunt.

I got my mom and her boyfriend into anime a couple years ago! So far they’ve seen
Death Note
Demon Slayer (only up to the Swordsmith Village)
Dr.Stone (They just finished the New World Arc)
Spy Family
And Erased

It’s been a lot of fun. They’re terrible at remembering everyone’s names so I made PowerPoints for DrStone and Demon Slayer

Stone Ocean is my fav part so far, I loved the Jotaro and Jolyne father and daughter relationship but enjoyed the manga more than the anime tbh.
As for my favorite character I'd say Josuke from part 8 cuz his development was truly beautiful.

Not anymore with my mom, but back in the day...and I'm really dating myself here with how old these titles are:

Slam Dunk (Bootleg DVDs) and,

The Legend of Condor Hero Season 1, aka "Shin Chou Kyou Ryo: Condor Hero" (Cantonese dub), I distinctly remember the opening theme being sung by Andy Lau. We were unable to find season 2 or 3 (in English subs). Thankfully the first season had English subtitles by fan-subers.

Those DVDs were left behind by a former tenant that skipped town after they were found to be growing a whole weed op.

My dad on the other hand preferred western movies and cartoons, specifically DC titles like Superman.

But there is 1 time I got caught, it was 2 years ago, when I was watching Kill la Kill, but suprisingly, she watched it before

And there's the time I got caught by my mom when I was watching Hyakkano weekly, Season 1, when Rentarou kissed Shizuka, she gasped at "Aw" and that's that and she went back to what she's doing

And there's that time when my mother and sister made it upstairs to home to me, while I was watching High School DxD Season 2, I was almost caught so I switched to another anime
