I know holo is naked and all the first couple of episodes but I don't think it's fan service-y. 86 is, I think, one of the few anime you can recommend to absolutely anybody without reservation. The mecha tag might scare some people away but they might as well be driving tanks around. Literally the best anime military drama (not counting Violet Evergarden, which I also recommend), with none of the nonsense like fan service, taboo relationships, and so on. Kino no tabi can be a bit boring, but it also fits the aforementioned description. Majou no tabitabi is a slightly more anime trope heavy version, but still very good if you end up liking kino no tabi. to your eternity, ascendance of a bookworm, maybe hyouka, ReLife and Iroduku. I say maybe because I personally wouldn't watch a school romance with someone other than my significant other, but if that's not a problem for you then have at it. |

Onimai is about a twenty-something jobless gooner and shut-in whose genius little sister concocts a potion to turn him into a little girl as a means of rehabilitation so that he may reintegrate with society. It's a slice of life/comedy/CGDCT (and it's really fun, actually (but highly questionable at times and probably not what OP is asking for)). Here's the MAL page for that. |
