I cant say much about this cause i dont watch anime by season. I might be wrong, but i think the reign of shoujo is around 2000s, then we have harem, then isekai. The way animes adapted are still changing to this day. Ppl are fed up with isekai, yes, but i think it got popular around 2018. ik SAO did it very early in 2012, maybe we get examples early than that, but i remeber the word isekai was greatly used and advertised around 2018. If my theory is correct, then isekai will only die around 2028, one generation later. But thats just my theory…

Im not gonna finish that sentence :D

@Vaganarch i dunno, i dont know how they decide that, but i know isekai was very present in shoujo manga long before 2018.

I think the story is serviceable so far. but what I'm really impressed with is the audio design. I'm pretty much watching this show solely for the BGM at this point lol, it really carries the show.

@Scuzzy_Beta i was also surprised by the bgm because i hated the opening. It's really well done.

There's no reason to compare other than that formula, if every anime was the same, we wouldn't have kept watching other animes because it'll get boring af if everything was the same. Treat every story as itself and just enjoy at what it is.

Yakuza fiance. Yoshino became pretty badass in romcom terms. But I agree with you. I would like to see anime where MC is working on himself/herself by himself/herself without constantly being held by hand by that cool guy who has no reason to actually do so..

Absolutely loved Yakuza finance. Yoshino's a great protagonist. I loved that even in the end you had people assuming she was stupid even as she was figuring everything out. Her VA was amazing. She deserves more main characters.

@itz_ats_sama Hey now, I like both. 100 Girlfriends is a Parody of Harems though, so your comparison is not really valid. LOL

i think i just realize sth. the reasons i feel weird about music is bc it reminds me of minecraft. no matter what happens in that game, its alway the calm pianos i think (unless you are in the end). this is the first time i see sth like this in an anime?
