I haven't watched, so no spoilers, please.

Does this cover the full manga and have the same ending, or is it an anime original end or have no ending at all?

Also, how much of the manga does it skip? Is it worth reading manga?

You can go either way. The anime is a full and solid adaptation of the manga. Same ending too.

No major parts were skipped.

I would say you can come back and read the manga at a later date. I mostly just feel the pacing of the anime is too fast for you to enjoy it fully, and the manga has an incredible artstyle which the anime can't compare to. It's a solid adaptation, though. I wish Lucifer could have got a decent adaptation like this did.

id say do both, it has some differences you will spot when you finished the anime and go to the manga afterwards.

Manga is good,
Have you ever heard of a 5-page manga spread?
