Now I'm no longer worried about this show's direction. Episode 2 has redeemed the episode 1. I guess they took the feedback and improved it. Let's enjoy the ride.

Edit: There was no censorship in episode 2, other than some deleted scene of a guard calling peepee a wench and that she'll sell well.
As for the skipped volume 0, like others have pointed out, it seems we'll get it later, since it's in the opening, the tv series decided to go chronologically.
The Voice Acting was amazing this episode 2 and they didn't do Koinzell dirty.
Choppy animations? The CGI was really well-done. Special effects are top notch. The facial expressions of Koinzell really captured his character.

PS: I'm a ubel blatt manga reader and a huge fan of this series. I was genuinely worried because of episode 1, but after ep 2 I know they'll do a good job with this show.

I dont know about others, but this still feels like a PG-13 slideshow where gore is near to non existent. It's really disappointing because I was expecting it to be bloody mess with explicit ecchi scenes.

It's heavily censored plus it has an entirely different plot and story from the manga's i.e it's basically an anime original plot and story. So yea, it's a disappointment to me too. The animation and character designs are decent though.

Edit: A misconception. The plot isn't different from that of the manga but the pacing is. It's terrible af and off too. It's revealing things that were supposed to be revealed later. So if you wanna keep up with the anime, focus on just that.

Are you some kind of troll or bot?

This show is trash and nigh unwatchable. It is the most generic, edgy show for teens, with bad character writing and world-building.
The animation is bad, and all the gore and nudity is removed.

Do you really think they make each episode in the week before it's shown?

This show doesn't even have the ecchi tag anymore (It had it when ep 1 released though) and this is not the first time the ecchi tag was falsely given to a show. I got trolled a couple of times now.

It is clear that all nudity will be cut. I read the first 7 chapters of the manga after the first episode as I felt there was a lot of details left out and I feel more lost in episode 2. I think it would be better to not watch the anime and just read the manga.

Your whole statement is not criticism it's the most troll comment ever, it's especially bad considering aot is in your favorite which is literally everything you just described

You are literally hating and attacking people for the sake of it and then saying you are not trolling, you are either stupid or so out of the loop with reality you don't even realize your own hypocrisy

As an anime only, I find the story very intriguing. I can't wait to continue the story. The second episode was definitely an improvement, not that the first one was bad per se, but it wasn't remarkable. The worldbuiding and flashbacks truly sold me.

ready to put it in drop list to me. it's clear they try to limit this to PG13 so everything that deems not safe for teens/kids will be removed. i don't watch this expecting shounen show.

You are defending a 6,8 MAL score show, that has objectively bad animation world-building, and character writing, but attacking a top 50 ranked show, that is both critically acclaimed and popular (and literally has nothing of the things I criticized), and you seriously think you are in the right.

How can you be so delusional? You are incredibly vain if you seriously think, that everybody else in the World is an idiot so their ratings don't matter, but somehow you are the only proper judge when assessing a show's worth.

Taste and enjoyment are subjective, but you are defending objective writing and adaptation mistakes of a really bad show. It's fine if you didn't like AoT, but you cannot criticize its writing, world-building and character development, because those parts are objectively good, while objectively bad in this show.

@fenrirr2 It's pretty wild saying "taste and enjoyment are subjective" while also having no concept of what objectivity means.
If you reply back to me and I never respond, I lost interest and don't care. Sorry about that.

Hahahahaha, good joke... Oh you were being serious, let me laugh even harder HAHAHAHAHHAHAHA

There is so much wrong with what you said it's actually hilarious, first you use your own opinions as facts and then complain when I say I like this, you also say taste and opinions are subjective, contradicting yourself even more

Then you are using Mal ratings as the bar, when it's clearly not something you can always trust, if I had a dollar for every time I really liked something low rated on Mal or hated something high rated I'd be rich that's how bad it can be, ecchi tagged animes especially get low ratings for no reason, there are rare circumstances like high school dxd or high school of the dead that get higher rating but those are mostly popular stuff too

Then you are complaining about world building and characters in an anime with only 2 episodes out, which doesn't even dwelve into the world buildings much, and there is still soooooo many characters and character development to be had

But there is no point in saying this to a brick wall of a contradicting person
