BanG Dream! Ave Mujica Episode 3 Discussion

is it safe to say that Ave Mujica is "the Madoka of" band anime now?

Too much drama in just three episodes focused only on two characters (Sakiko and Mutsumi). The other three members of the band don't seem to have any real problems. I don't know what Think about this.

@Hormigo erm. We were clearly shown that Nyamu has inferiority complex which she hides and which was fueled this episode. While Uika is very insecure regarding her relationships with Sakiko (she is presumably Sakikos best friend, but Mutsumi is the only person Sakiko tries to be open with).

This show has officially gone too far and it’s characters are disgusting, I have no idea how anyone can defend these characters; Mutsumi practically collapsed on stage and no one goes to check on her, then they proceed to accuse her of planning it. NOWHERE does ANYONE ask if she is okay, instead they decide to only care about themselves which leads Mutsumi further and further into a downward spiral until she snaps. UTTERLY UNACCEPTABLE.
I only still watch this show because of the BanG Dream label, if it wasn’t for that, I’d rage quit

Too much drama, so much emotional baggage.
Some things are hard to comprehend.
Why does no one try to talk to Mutsumi, check if she is ok and help her to open up?
What does Nyamu gain in the long term from stirring the issues? She is arguably the weakest talent in the band. Why no one calls Nyamu out?
But interested in what the ending means. I don't think she is leaving though I think she would fit into MyGo much better.

The people around her has other things to attend to. Sakiko, her closest friend is too broken emotionally: Umiri is only focused on the job at hand which is "managing" the scheduling of this already dysfunctional band; Uika is practically doing double duty with Ave Mujica and sumimi, so not much to expect from her either; and Nyamu has her own agenda to attend to. It come to a point that it now needs a significant outside intervention to snap them out of this conundrum. This is I think the girls of MyGo!!!!! will gonna take the roles of..
And the adults, that should been the ones to do this for Mutsumi (and for others too) are nowhere to be found. They are either indifferent or straight-up trash. This points out to I think the weakest part of the show's plot which is the lack of that adult manager that should have the maturity and experience to deal with these girls.


Difference in philosophies regarding on how they will advance their careers. Nyamu is more concerned with what the fans would think about them and believes that what the fans want should be top priority while Sakiko is more concerned with the direction of the band itself regardless of what the audience wants. Yes she is the weakest talent in the band but also the one that practice the hardest so in terms of effort, she has the biggest to lose. This is her biggest break and probably the only chance, so its understandable that she will cling to it no matter what.
The argument in the train station is one big calling out to all of the members. The correct question is why she isn't kicked out yet. I think this is more on practicality issues. The music shows are already set and Nyamu seems to be a very good actor herself (because of the fact that she is attending acting school) so it is impractical at this point to remove and replace her. They don't have much time to establish any kind of new chemistry with a new member. I think they can do that instead after these waves of live shows are done but of course it is still up to their management.
