For 7 months they sold it as an anime about an animator stuck in the production of her film because she doesn't know the subject of romance, and it's an isekai???
Come on I'll let the staff cook but... I'm careful, I'm not sure of this twist.

Yeah, this looks like an isekai... Very disappointed.

From the announcement, I thought this was going to be a story about artists and animation studios, in the vein of Shirobako or Look Back. It now looks like there's a heavy fantasy component.

Maybe MAPPA finally found the time to look at that massive isekai pie, and rather than talk to light novel publishers, they thought to themselves, "we'll just cook up our own."

It looks like there could be a twist where she uses her drawing skills to manipulate the world, which could be fun.

Thought it was going to be MAPPA's version of Shirobako, but I guess it's really not.

Even if it's isekai, I'd give it a try, it looks interesting enough.

This being isekai ruined it for me... However I'll give it a try because it kinda looks good.
I just hope this doesn't turn out to be another dissapointment from MAPA's new original animes like Bucchigiri.

Isekai can be fine if it isn't hyper generic and poorly written. The writers history and the fact is original makes guessing the writing quality hard to predict. The concept is at least interesting technically its re:creators in reverse were the creator gets sent to the work instead of the work being sent to reality. Re:creators writing kinda dropped the ball on the high level concept though so it isn't like a good idea can carry you through a season.
