What's the deal with A-1 pictures depicting children as these hyper-aware social beings. It makes sense in Satoru's case because he's still 30 years old, but it's kinda ridiculous how Kenya was offering Satoru emotional support. Kids don't care about sentimentality and are nowhere near as observant as this show makes them out to be (unless, of course, Kenya is in the same situation as Satoru). Also, I'm surprised Satoru doesn't seem to understand the butterfly effect. He's been through this stuff before, so he should understand that preventing Kayo's death would stop Sachiko from investigating it 18 years later, thereby saving her fate as well. That's without a doubt the reason he was transported so far back in time.

I'm interested to learn about the reason behind Satoru's power, though I'm not entirely sure if it'll be explored in a way which satisfies me.

Also, I found Kayo's official theme song:

This kinda reminds me of Steins;Gate time traveling, saving their loved one, and most likely changing the future, so far I have a feeling that the killer is most likely the guy that helped him the kid with blonde hair he has red eyes so I'm suspecting him.

I liked the op and ep animation/song. It's pretty interesting to see Satoru going back 18 years for his revival. I want to give Kayo a hug. She needs to be protected at all costs. I'm really enjoying it so far though! :D

this episode spits out so many questions that I'd want to uncover and find out. It tries to capture your interest (which really works).

The main thing I want to figure out/find out the most is Kayo Hinazuki's life & past. I also really want to know how the murder incident occurred and what happened to Kayo Hinazuki & how in detail (not just that she was murdered by a serial killer but the actual detail).

A great episode about getting to slowly know Satoru & Satoru's friends, with slowly uncovering Hinazuki's past.

[The OP & ED fit really well for this series theme in my opinion. I also find them to be catchy :3]

[I also find Kenya to be understanding and for y'all who think that's insane there are people who can actually understand emotions very well at the age of 11. I personally think that this makes the series even more likeable, interesting & entertaining]

The crazy thing is I heard the opening in like a store when I travel to Japan like 2 years ago and then I put it on my playlist and then I was like is this from an anime I bet you it is I'll probably figure it out down the line nothing much to say about this episode besides the fact that the plot is thickening

Satoru’s working on developing a friendship with Kayo it seems. It also seems he’s trying to gather some information and get acclimated to that huge time leap.

Great episode! It was painful to see what Hinazuki has been going through. The abuse scene made me mad >:(

Great OP and ED.The video game talk made me lol. Kayo's intro was interesting and suitably mysterious. Nice to see Satoru beginning to bond with her. Great ep again. Looking forward to the next.

I like the show so far but the dialogue for the children doesn't make them sound like they are actually only 10 year olds.
No kid of that age would ever talk like Kenya or Kayo.

My biggest problem with the second EP. They sound like adults, or even more serious than the most adults. Funny.

The EP was really good, dense atmosphere and interesting interactions between characters.

Creepy teacher is creepy.
It's a problem with anime, so I assume their age 4-5+ years so that it's somewhat fine and won't bug me out.

5 out of 5: Loved it! (my vote)
This episode. The animation was great! It was so good.

As for the plot, it seems like our protagonist has been sent back in time after he knew about the fact that his mother died after getting stabbed by that man in black suit. Honestly, the protagonist's reaction would be the same as mine if I were also to notice my mother's death in a gruesome way.

The protagonist, Satoru, has been sent back in time freaking eighteen years in the past to save someone, or something, or people. This is really exciting!

I have theories: (a) maybe Hinazuki's father is Yuuki; (b) maybe Hinazuki's mother is abusive and asked the real culprit to kill Hinazuki

Seeing Satoru appreciate his mom so much now that he got to be with her again gives me a feeling of contentment and I love to see it. Kayo radiates so much Haibara Ai vibes to me since I'm an avid Conan fan, and I'm liking her so far. I wonder what really lies beyond her already sad background. Her essay also tugged at heartstrings. Also, Kenya seems knowledgeable, but I'm a bit suspicious of him. He has red eyes like the culprit. Lastly, I want to know Yuuki too, I think he'll appear sooner or later.

A less intense but still dramatic follow up to the last episode. I have some theories about certain characters based on how they've behaved but I'll wait and see what happens.

Great episode 2. I feel like the realism of the art and the tasteful directing really adds to the overall experience. On top of that, the dialogue is fun to follow: it actively avoids many anime conversation cliches, and I am extremely grateful for that. To top it off, the VA and the unobstrusive accompanying soundtrack feels right at home within the atmosphere. It is simply a really good show.

This episode was really touching on very tough subjects, in a way that didn't come across as being insensitive. I feel like the pacing in this anime is pretty near perfect, I'm just hoping the conclusion can be properly met in only 12 episodes!

This episode closes the 'intro' to the show and gives us more insight what the show will actually be about. They've shown it nicely and the storyline is already beautiful.

i really love the mysterious vibe to this show smmmmm.

What I really dont like is that this 29 year old says "get ahold of yourself" when he is talking about a LITTLE GIRL W T F. I also hate the whole high school girl character coming over to his house and his mom trying to get them together it is so creepyyyyyy.

Love this show sm so far but that part is ruining it...[

One of my first Animes I have ever watched and also my favorite. It is very short and an easy watch, has good storytelling and feels like it has a defined ending, rounding everything up quite nicely. Watched this show with my dad recently and it was the first Anime Series I ever watched with him and he also really enjoyed it. Would definetly recommend!

No wonder she was a target for the kidnapper since she spent most of her time after school in the park. Some people don't deserve to be parents

I honestly cannot bring myself to ship them since the guy is mentally 29 years old and it's just weird to feel attracted to a little girl. Sorry, not sorry.
