The style seemed somehow similar to episode 78 "Diamonds Gleam in a Robot's Eye" (these one)
Fujiko, when she does something not for money, is cute, too

It spent so much time on those two buffoons I wonder if they were played by comedians the audience would recognize or something. It all seems too much for them to just be one-shot doof characters in this show.

A kind of boring and unentertaining episode, anyway.

In which Lupin must find, and later protect, a pencil eating cat! Another very strange episode, very out there plot. Even all the cats seemed very crudely drawn. Vivian could have made for a semi-interesting recurring character, but at least she found closure...I guess. XD

Cat : "Yoo, nee-chan" xD

A cat that eats pencil scraps, now that's creative
Wait.. katsuobushi shaped like pencil? How?
Oh Goemon xD

Also why those two tried to chase that cat if they're the one tricking Lupin?

This was a goofy, and not really remarkable episode. That poor cat certainly was thrown around a lot too, but at least Vivian was able to become a star like she wanted, and the cats she trained got a home, and now they can also probably eat a lot of katsuobushi.

A rather underwhelming episode. An absurd premise for a humorous effect and constant chasing. Lupin wasn't trying to steal anything, nor was there adventure, and as a result the characters weren't used to their potential, they were just something to place in a plot that could have fit many other series.

It seems that animals like Lupin, whether he likes them back or not. Cats, dogs, pigs, dolphins, mice... I can relate to that.

Jigen set his trap for the cat on a rooftop. How could he be so sure the pencil shavings wouldn't be blown away by the wind?

At least that rooftop was comfortable.

Woah damn, this was a fun episode! That lengthy pre-titlecard bit was pretty fun, even with Lupin barely being in it. Also, the "I couldn't be fucked to come up with a good title" attitude of the newspaper was really funny.

There's always something magical with how the Japanese mock us Americans that just "works" for me. Despite being one of the lowest stakes episode so-far, this whole episode was comedic gold, and might be a favorite of all of Part II. Though I am definitely looking forward to more high stake episodes, as this sort of episode is better off as the exception rather than the rule.
