Chimera ant arc is overrated

in my opinion hunter x hunter would be a 10 without that trash arc. i think its the worst of all, it f@ckes up the peak of hxh i wish it never was made.

The Arc is PEAK but it is kinda overrated. I also felt boring most the times. Isaac Netero and Meruem fight was also boring. I enjoyed Gon vs Neferpitou just a little bit. They made Arc very long than usual. I still gave it 8.5/10

It's an opinion just like how your claim is an opinion. It varies with each person.

@2b2tmc2 You cannot just hide behind that. Everyone has reasoning for their takes. It could be reasonable or nonsensical and due to a lack of media literacy. Saying "it's just an opinion", removes any chance for any intelligent discourse about any piece of literature.

@Ashikhi I don't follow you so not liking hunter x hunter is a tragedy? A tragedy is the like of Titanic or Pearl Harbor not liking something it's inherently inevitable as everyone experience life differently and because of it won't experience the same media the same way. So no idea why you go with the tangent of tragedy but I find it a little hyperbolic on your part regardless that I like Nasuverse or not.

@Otakupervert890 It is supposed to hyperbolic statement. I thought that should be obvious. Like how you saying you removed hair from your head is also a hyberbolic statement. Unless you actually did, which in that case I have no words. I was just expecting intelligent takes about media from someone who can recognise the greatness of the Nasuverse. If you could elaborate on why you think the Chimera Ant arc is even close to being a 4/10 then I would be interested since there's simply no way in order to do so.

The Chimera Ant arc is why it took me a year to finish the show. I know people who love the arc, but too me, it was long and was full of so much info that I could not retain. I don't think it's fair to call it a bad arc. It is fair to call it challenging, though, and over-complex.

Chimera Ant arc is a great arc with a brilliant conclusion, but I agree it is dragged out and new allies like Palm and even Kite personally aren't as interesting as the author wants them to be.

(Personally, my favourite arc is Greed Island)
