| So they saved the key power to use in the end after all. Figured it would be the most reasonable scenario. Narita once again had a key role while the rest of the squad stood together. So yeah, this whole game just got back to its main roots like from the beginning. Pieces, dates, and other content were pieced together. |

| As both Saneatsu and Saaya awakens being aided by Gobo to find Ryuta's last gift, Raion heads to Kisaragi and Haruto, who are in the midst of resurrecting Teppei. The reaffirmations of Raion's promises to Haruto as a close friend in this rather pressing situation (which honestly doesn't even need to exist), the finality of the return of Teppei and the reveal of the detais about the Camp, and the transferring of the Obedience Right from Teppei to Kisaragi, ends up in failure over Saneatsu's Parental Authority. Saneatsu rewinding time back to before Tasuketsu started, and all that's left is the raid of the Camp altogether to save Haruto from becoming the Emperor, even if Raion's goodwilll is based on lies and betrayal that proved his loyalty more than most. The finality to destroy the Mother Light and have all Rights be rescinded, everyone remains in one piece, and the Camp's test subjects have been set free from the hell they came from. But for as long as the secret lives on for all those involved, life returns to normal, albeit connected as the truth they've had for the moment. The 2nd half is the true redemption of the series, though to suffer through the 1st half, it's a high-risk, high-reward stint. |

| Well that certainly went a different direction than I was expecting lol, I didn’t think it was a possibility to turn back time and undo everything with the obedience right but they went and did it, and I’m ngl I actually kinda liked it. At first I felt it was an unsatisfying ending because we never got to see the Queen defeated or see her and the Emperor’s reactions to being lied to by Raion, I was eagerly awaiting that moment but it never happened sadly. But as I kept watching and saw everyone fighting against the common enemy under one banner I started to like it, because really the Queen and the Emperor aren’t bad guys, they just ended up in their situations because of what the camp did to them, and had done enough bad that couldn’t be undone, except it could be undone and that’s why they’re friends now lol. I would find it hard to be chummy with people that were trying to kill me moments ago personally, but it was nice seeing them all get their happy ending in the slideshow as the best ED played, all the songs in the show were good but I’m glad they went with my favorite one for the end. And that was the “Death Game” anime, I put it in quotation marks because this was anything but lol. Yeah in the end I can say they kinda reeled me back in with the 2nd cour but it really never recovered from the lack of a death game for me, that’s why I picked this initially because a 2-cour death game sounded awesome, but it was sadly half baked with no death ever being final, and they kinda abandoned the death game aspect pretty early on so it only had the feeling of one for like a few episodes, and said episodes were actually the worst of the series because of the rapid pace. But with that being said, I wouldn’t watch a 24 episode anime if I hated it the whole time, so I can thankfully say there was enough to like in this show to keep going, like the rights which were pretty cool minus the asspully nature some tended to have, and I also really liked the characters as well as their designs, the 2nd half was especially character driven which really helped save the show imo, Raion was honestly a better MC than Saneatsu too, no offense to him lol. So yeah I’m glad I watched this, I think it was worth even with all its problems. But there are some things I can easily say have no problems, and that’s the OPs and EDs, all of them were really good and fitting for the show, I’m honestly glad I watched this just for them alone lol. And if there ever was to be a season 2, because apparently there is more after this which really surprised me to find out, I’d probably watch it, I just hope if Satelight does it again they put their A team on it, because they definitely didn’t for this show lol. |

| That ending was completely unexpected... Turning back time is such an overpowered right. It was I guess nice but still a very weird anime. 6/10 |
| The first part was flawed, but the second part completely fixed that, ending with an excellent and yes logical finale. Wanted to put 9, but looking at the ratings changed my mind and put 10. If there will be a adaptation of the next parts I will look it with pleasure. |
