| Looks like that Nun survived. Sein left early but Frieren found him again. He told Frieren to not kill his friend but Frieren said shes gonna prioritize Fern and Stark's safety first. And Serie also activated mana detection circle. Beautiful magazine cover and color page too. |
| Solid chapter. We're getting closer and closer to the inevitable showdown between all the involved parties. Seeing more of Warrior Gorilla or Kries as he's called here, really makes me wonder what's gonna happen to guy. I can only hope for the best outcome for him, even when Frieren makes it clear to Sein that it's not something she can promise. Am very much looking forward to the next chapter. |

First thank the lord for blessing us with Cat ears Sense. Now we must pray for cat ears Serie.
Ok they want to end Magic by killing Serie wtf? Why? Like actually what is the benefit of this besides giving Demons a monopoly on magic. If another Demon makes a killing spell like Zoltraak that can't be stopped by current means they're literally all screwed. I guess they think the Empire could have a monopoly on magic and deal with any demons? Also, gorilla warrior wtf happened to him? Yes, he is Gorilla warrior I refuse to call him any other name. I really hope Gotee priest and Gorilla warrior reunite without either one dying. Also so Captain Phrase has been constantly surveilling the entire capital with her mana detection but it's been only detected by Serie and Frieren? Still, even Frieren and other mages are unable to really perceive Phrase due to how weak it is and Serie is making her mana detection obvious and flashy to pick a fight with Phrase?
Also poor Nun got ptsd from Ferns Zoltraak snipe. We also see why they all think the head priest shadow warrior is trash. He truly has an awful personality.
Ubel talking with Fern was nice to see as well.

| Forgot to write my opinion about the chapter. Frieren's ever the observant. Serie is indeed someone who finds joy in battles. I'm not even surprised that she's purposefully rousing the people who wants to kill her just so she can get her fill of fighting. Not sure if I want to see Serie fighting though. To me it feels wrong to see such a legendary, almost mythical, figure in that world getting her hands dirty. I did like that small flashback when she startled Macht with her primitive magic but I don't know if it's going to pan out this time. I hope the author provides us with a surprising twist where they develop the story in a different direction that what I think most people reading now expect to happen. |
| This arc is building up a ridiculous amount of tension. And we are so close to the big event now. This is slowly becoming my favorite arc in the series, definitely reaching my deepest interest much like the Golden Land arc. The character parallels and roles in each of the factions is just so endearing to read about. Now we just need a thematic depth as well crafted as that one for me to put it in number one on my book. Yet another stellar chapter, I literally cannot wait to see what's next, each pauses kills me a bit inside with anticipation. |

| Yeah, that warrior gorilla seems to not care at all about Sein. I'm pretty sure he's aware that old man was talking about Sein after all, so yeah. Again, lots and lots of build-up. As it has been the case with this series, I'm sure the payoff wouldn't disappoint us at all. |
